Wednesday, June 12th marked the version 0.8.7.0 update for Shadow of Legend. A couple of new instances and events were introduced, one of which is called, “Advent of Azrael.”

Azrael, one of the Seven Sons of Sin, is bent on destroying Agnes, leaving the lands desolate and barren. Union and Chaos have never faced a threat as such before, especially one so close to their main cities! Protect your loved ones and defend the main city!

What: Advent of Azrael Event
When: Everyday, 7:00pm PST
Where: In the fields outside of Phynas and Greyrock Castle

Rules:

1. Player beware! Azrael is a Demon God, so it will be very VERY strong. Grouping with other players, or playing with your guild is the surest way you can ensure the demon’s defeat.

2. Once Azrael is slain, huge rewards will be available for the picking. The rewards will appear in a nearby area. However, if Azrael is not slain by 10:00 pm PST, the rewards will not appear.

Elf Online In game Event – Happy Carnival

A series of new events will be released soon in the next update with changes as bugs fixed and new element added. Let’s get a quick view of what a brand new Elf Online (http://elf.happymmo.com) has.

Happy Carnival: Happy Carnival is consisted of a series of such events as the carnival, treasure box fall and hatch the golden egg. Players could take part in the game in a relaxed way with lots of rewards and experience waiting for them.

1. Carnival
When the carnival begins, players could go to the guide in each city- Carefree village, Wulong Village and Dragon City to apply for joining the carnival. You will get some quests from the guide when you apply for participation. Every 10 quests is a round, for each quest you finished, Exp and coins will be granted. When you finish up to 6 quests in a round, you will be granted quest credits, with the credits, you may exchange golden eggs.
Requirement: Solo or team, each participant should above level 20.
Rewards: For each round, players will be rewarded 1 happy fruit, after using it you will get 1000 SP. Furthermore, there is some possibility to gain extra rewards as common eggs for teleport and treasure boxes.

2. Treasure box fall
System will recode the number of player who participate the carnival in each city. The number of quest player finished and the number of player participated affects the heat of the carnival of that city. When the heat reach 2000, or the multiple of 2000, some treasure boxes will fall from the sky. After the quest is finished, 80 treasure boxes will drop from the sky in the city with the highest heat.
Requirement: The treasure box fallen in one city could only be collected by player who participate the carnival in that city.
Reward: Happy fruit, Treasure, Exp

3. Hatch Golden Egg
You may go to the guide in each city to exchange golden egg with every 15 credits could exchange for 1 golden egg. When you get 30 credits and 4 eggs, you could hatch the golden egg. When the egg is hatched, you have some possibility to get rare pets, Exp or gold powder.

Game Launch to Slaughter MMO Preconceptions

MARINA DEL REY, Calif. – June 6, 2008 – Requiem: Bloodymare will bring a new era of mature horror to the MMO space with its commercial launch. Players that pre-order subscriptions will be able to begin playing on June 16, three days before gamers using the free-to-play option.

This M-rated horror title brings a new option to mature MMO players looking for an alternative to the standard game fare. In addition to the controversial content, Requiem: Bloodymare’s gameplay challenges conventional MMO approaches.
Character development is not restricted to just choosing a class and skills. Players will use the DNA system to experiment with their own genetic code. Ghoulish experiments with DNA will allow characters to obtain traits that nature never intended.

Players will also not be tied down to just the skills open to their class. Using the Beast Possession system they will be able to transform into some of the most violent and grotesque monsters they encounter. Regardless of initial class, players are free to choose between monsters that rip prey to shreds with their bare claws to ones that call up dark magical forces that rot the flesh off theeir enemies’ bones.
The world is a deadly place in Requiem. When day turns to night the world decays in a Nightmare-ish landscape and terrifying monsters come to life. Imbued with unholy power, they are many times more powerful than the daylight denizens.

“We’ve put together a title that is going to turn the MMO world on its ear. Requiem: Bloodymare is, quite simply, one of the best free-to-play MMOs out there,” said Jay H. Choi, vice president, Gravity Interactive.
The game will be free-to-play with two levels of subscriptions. Event Content:

1. The Super Papa will go to a location in the Angel Lyceum at random. Angels need to find the Super Papa as soon as possible and then trade flowers with him.

2. At the same time, Angels can send their best wishes to the Super Papa with the Super Broadcasting. It will increase your amity with the Super Papa.

3. The Super Papa will give Angels a wonderful gift according to their wishes and the number of flowers. If you are lucky enough, you may obtain a rare pet egg and ride from the Super Papa. Meanwhile, the Super Papa will announce the Angels’ names who have obtained mounts or rare eggs in the in-game announcements.
