Eudemons: Interview with g0d: To the Glorious Triumph of Teamwork!
g0d: hmmmm >.<
g0d: it’s easy once you figure it out =) I completed it twice already
g0d: hmm… I’m from heaven, and I’ve been playing for… I’ve been playing since April 10th 2007.
g0d: this one =) the other expansions and/or quests are crazy simple, this one actually got people off their feet and challenge themselves. I like it a loooooooooooot!! Ha-ha!
g0d: That was the second try. The first try was just a preview, we weren’t planning to go as far, but somehow we managed to get to the third boss before Alamut. No, we didn’t think about quitting, after the first try, we were determined to go through. With my strategy, we did.

g0d: We have five in the team, all of us are warriors. m&m and I did the main job. The other two were backups after we run out of SP =P One of our team members fell asleep too!
g0d: haha, she fell asleep…didn’t wake up
g0d: Nope, this will be an excellent opportunity for players to use their brain instead of asking people how to do it =) On the thread, I have posted how to pass it, for those that have read it, they know now. But I removed it on the next day, so people won’t know =)
g0d: Yupyup~

g0d: I’m not sure haha, but I did notice that we only had 10 minutes left to kill Alamut. In fact, I think it was six hours or something, I just rounded up to seven hours.
g0d: Of course.
g0d: The second time, I believed there was one hour left. Either one hour or two hours left remaining.
g0d: Absolutely, in fact I’m doing it now LOL…Just me this time. I brought my paladin in there as well since the quest requires MP and soul to activate the statues.
g0d: Yes definitely, it was incredibly hard for me to communicate my strategy throughout the entire quest. I recommend players using a chat communication system when doing this quest. Skype, Ventrilo, TeamSpeak, etc… But we did it fine without anything.
g0d: Sure. It requires team work. But it doesn’t improve how players should PK haha
Before this expansion was released, I was doing PK all day long! I was permanent black name before the server merge even happened. But then I had to go white name due to this quest.

g0d: I like the rewards, but I didn’t like the fact that the website announced when Alamut is killed, a moonbox will be rewarded. Jeffery later on stated on the forum thread that the moonbox is not a 100% drop. During my second time killing Alamut, the moonbox didn’t drop either. So my question is: Is the chance really low?
g0d: Hopefully haha.
g0d: Piece of cake =P. Actually, I think Alamut is the easiest now haha.
g0d: Awwh sorries xD
Jean: Nah…never mind, just kidding…
g0d: yup, I went and ate ramen

g0d: Hmmmm……. Well everyone thinks the Carias Fortress quest is hard, but after you defeat it once or twice, it’s actually REALLY easy. Last night we completed it with only two people. The key to completing this quest is teamwork, lots of teamwork. Completing it alone is quite hard; even I’m having a difficult time right now. For the game, I expect the final quest like Alamut to have better drops in the end, not just shards. And I’d like to see TQ making more exciting expansions like this.
g0d: It does and it has, I noticed a tremendous change from the past two and a half years.
g0d: You’re welcome and thanks for the interview while I’m doing alamut =P
Jean: lol…
Talisman Online Interview: Going In-Depth on Features
Talisman Online Interview: Going In-Depth on Features
Questions by Mohammed Abubakr, OnRPG Journalist
Answered by Terry Jin from Miracle Castle
Talisman Online is a free 3D MMORPG that focuses around an ancient Chinese legend. All players have talismans which are united with their soul and these can be anything from a sword to a bow. We have managed to get Terry Jin from Miracle Castle to answer some of our questions. The responses were very thorough. I am sure you will enjoy reading through this interview!
If you are interested in learning all about this game, please read the full written review.
Onrpg: Hello! Thank you for taking some time to answer our questions. First of all, can you introduce yourself?
Hi Abubakr, thanks for the great opportunity provided. I come from Miracle Castle product operation team. Members in our team usually know a little bit more about Talisman Online (referred as TO), the game’s history and its future, that’s why I am here. Personally I am also a big fan of various games, and always fascinated about sharing the experiences among every friend.
Character Creation Screen in Talisman Online
Onrpg: Before we start getting into the game and its features, can you please explain the story behind Talisman Online?
Upon first glance the story is quite straight forward – Evil Master Blood will break out from the sacred seal after 500 years, and a righteous fellowship formed by Monk, Wizard, Fairy, Tamer and Assassin, they will take the lead and fight the evil lord with their own talents. If we look deeper into the background storyline, there are more to discover. There is a well-known ancient Chinese legend – we call it Shu Mountains. In the world of Shu Mountains, every normal people will be able to gain supernatural power, but they need to be lucky enough to meet the mysterious and knowledgeable masters, and then practice really hard. To achieve perfection in the practice, each apprentices will also have their own weapons, it’s called Talisman. Talisman might be a sword, dagger or bow, or any other stuff with magic power. To really “own” a Talisman, apprentices will need to “forge” it with their own soul and heart. And a well “forged” Talisman will be a great plus to its masters’ supernatural power. I guess now you will know more about the name Talisman Online.
Just like the Greek Mythology, the legend is so deep into many Chinese people’s mind, and there are still quite a few folks believe the existence of supernatural power, as well as the way to retrieve that. If you have ever watched the movie Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon, some fighting scenes there were demonstrations of the Talisman spirit and power. And the whole movie was started with a sword (or say Talisman) which was abandoned by its original master…
Onrpg: First of all, why should players stop and take a look at your game when there are many other MMOs out there. What makes Talisman Online stand out? What are some of its unique features?
Thanks for asking my favourite questionJ. We always ask ourselves why a player would choose a specific MMORPG. Is it a game with fascinating visual and audio effects? Or is the game a great place to know people and play together? Or is the game providing a combined experience that brings many emotions to the players? TO is a combination of all above and we do feel there are more about this game.
– l Let’s start with high performance and low criteria – TO is a 3D MMORPG with perfect visual effects. In the meantime, TO is a game has minimum client end software (253MB), moreover, TO has the minimum requirement on a player’s PC or laptop.
– l New Player Friendly -TO is a game that you can learn to play in 10 minutes. I am not saying you will become an expert after 10 minutes, but 10 minutes will make sure you have good understanding of the game terms and logics, thus would enable a player to easily dig further. Also, there is more consideration on rules in the game, to ensure a nice environment for newbies.
– l TO community – We have so many players, and they are coming from every corner of the world. In our latest survey, most of our players are taking great pleasure in meeting and making friends from all over the world. Many kinds of online and offline friendship were formed.
Guild Setup in Talisman Online
Onrpg: What kind of audience does your game appeal to? (Kids, Adults, Hardcore, Casual)
I would say everyone. We have a good coverage of all ages among players. And there are some interesting in-game teams formed by couples, mother and son, grandmother and grandson… Also, we have expert level players who are able to give us consultation and advices on game features, and we have casual players who just enjoy the pure interactive.
Onrpg: You are able to customize your character when starting the game. There are quite a few classes and options to choose between. However some classes are gender locked. What is the idea behind this?
Glad that you noticed that. Some classes are gender locked, such as Monk. And some are not, like Wizard. And there is a plan to release the other gender for certain class in the future.
Onrpg: Why does the interface look very similar to World of Warcraft? Is it true this game was the first WoW Clone? I am not saying this is a bad thing.
I don’t think TO is that much a WoW clone. First of all, I agree your observation on the user interface. I would say WoW has originated the design of a very convenient user operation panel, which provides an integrated function for users to operate and inquire the game info. I think any game with the respect of the user’s experience will naturally adopt the best practice. In the meantime, I believe any player who has experience on both games will be able to tell the difference. TO has the unique essence and the game philosophy. Maybe the best way to illustrate that is our TO slogan, Talisman to Survival, Teamwork to Victory. Perfect talismans and trustworthy friends, that’s what one would dream for in the game.
Follow the Philosophies of the Talismans
Finally, I think everyone would agree that pure cloning won’t make a great game. To make TO a really outstanding game, our game designers and developers are working collaboratively, to keep TO’s unique experience and balance. Moreover, we regard ourselves more as a host instead of a simple game company; we hope to offer full experience with all kinds of emotions, both online and offline.
Onrpg: Classes in Talisman Online use different weapons than the usual ones. For example mages wield swords. Why did you choose this peculiar setup, so different from the ‘normal’ MMO weaponry?
I really like your observation, as it’s TO’s specific feature. You know the game is based on the story of the Shu Mountains; people in the world are really tied up with their own talisman. It’s not only a weapon, but also a carrier of the owner’s soul essence. Players should practice their own attributes, as well as forge the talisman all the time. These efforts would return with unlimited advantage, both on character’s skills and power. With the current 5 classes available to choose, players will also see many varieties of the ways to upgrade their own character.
Onrpg: Unlike most games where you either level up and gain skill points or buy them from NPCs you get skills from weapons in Talisman Online. Weapons can also be enhanced to unlock more skills. Can you explain how this system of skills and enhancing works and why you decided to make the game like this?
I would say similar answer as the above question. Talisman is all about the weapons. Chinese philosophy believes the perfect balance between heaven and man, as well as the master and talisman tightly in one. TO weaponry philosophy provides more alternatives for players to pursue the ultimate power, the more time and efforts you spend on forging the talisman, the more powerful weapon you get, and you will be able to add much extra attributes to your own character. Also players are able to develop duel magic skills. This would enable a player to practice 2 different magic in the same time, isn’t that cool?
New Content: Popular Phoenix Mount
Onrpg: Players will get bored just training all day. What else is there to do other than training?
Well, there is a lot to do. We have multiple scenarios for users to explore. I know many players just enjoy forming a team and exploring the various scenarios. Some are for the experience and rare items, some are for the challenges for difficulty, some are enjoying working it out with different friends. Guild is also an important factor for the player experience. Joining a guild would mean more interaction and help. Forming a guild would request a good personality and some management skills. Players are fond of the guild settings in TO, they really got a lot more from the guild activities. If a player would enjoy competition, there are abundant choices of PVP, PVE and Duel systems. They will always experience equal fun even after reaching level cap. And there are reputation tasks, which will bring reputation points. Good reputation records bring not only good friends, but also nice equipments.
Onrpg: There is an interesting activity players can take party in called Group Arena. From what I understand you and your friends have to protect and NPC from waves of monsters. How does this exactly work? Do monsters get more powerful the higher level your team is?
Actually Group Arena now refers to the mode of PVP competition in the game. We can explore that in the next question. The one you referred to is exactly called Protect Master Ku, a PVE competition. It was designed for the Tower Defence games lovers. In that mode, we have set up 100 waves of different monsters. Each wave is stronger than the previous. And there will be a few bosses under special intervals, also there will be sneak attacks. Teams of players would try their best to fight and survive the monster attacks.
And of course not only the monsters are strengthened, special items that won’t appear in any other place of the game will be dropped, and there will be special aids to the players to fight the monsters. In terms of the result, nice ranking will bring bonus to your character. Apart from the normal experiences, you can get more than normal tasks. And it’s the only source for gaining soul power in the game. To make sure most players could enjoy the group arena, the difficulty of monsters will be determined by the level of the top guy in the player team.
Onrpg: How exactly does the PvP system work in this game? What kind of penalties (if any) does a player receive by killing others?
TO is not a game encouraging random PK. We have PK value, along with red/yellow name mechanism. 1 random kill will make a player name yellow; 2 consecutives would turn his name red. As a punishment, everyone else in the game is free to kill yellow name players without any punishment, and the yellow name character will suffer further loss of experience, energy and gold. Same thing would apply to red name character, and the loss would be doubled. Also a character with red name would be forbidden to use the skills, as well as being kept out in certain scenarios and arenas.
For players who request for fair PK, we have dedicated PVP arena. Also, a player could request for a duel with others, if the request was accepted, a “friendly match” would take place between players without anyone being punished. For active players, there are also group PK, City Wars though organized ways. Guilds and player teams will be able to combat through set timelines and with restricted arenas. Everyone will get what they have been seeking for.
Close-knit communities band together in City Wars
Onrpg: Like most F2P games there is a form of micro transaction. From what I understand T-Points can be used to purchase items. What kind of items can be purchased and do they give CS users a clear advantage over others?
In TO, even if you spend nothing, there is good chance to get decent items. Using T-Points would not bring clear advantages to users, but they would save much time. In the current trading system, our T-Points could be exchanged with in-game gold. That means as long as you collect enough in-game gold through tasks and scenarios, you will be able to purchase anything you like. So any player will get as much fun, you can expect monsters to drop most items that you can buy from the mall, and there are many precious items that could not be purchased. Players should be lucky enough to get them from scenarios and other tasks.
Onrpg: In the character info window there is a tab called Reputation. Can you please explain how reputation works and what players can do with it?
I would suggest our players to cherish the reputation points, as it’s a great way to get nice and rare equipments. Upon finishing the reputation tasks, players will obtain reputation points that can exchange the top Purple Sets in the game. Reputation also links up to the apprentice mechanism, the more you’ve done to train up newbie, the more reputation points you will be accumulated. That’s another reason that newbie are really popular in the game.
Onrpg: Are there any new major updates such as new classes planned for release?
Our principle is to maximize the player experience without changing the in-game balance. I would just list a few things in our plan: new scenarios are underway, new PVP updates will secure private room for PVP players. Our Christmas task is going to be released soon. It’s not only a patch to simply fix problem, new stuff will be introduced, such as new mount. And also to be fair enough to the monsters and bosses in the game, some of them will be having new skills to protect themselves better.
Onrpg: Do you have any games planned for release? If so can we please get a little information? 🙂
How come you know we have such a plan! : ) Yes, we do have something ready for our players. But I have to apologize that not much information is allowed at this moment, please stay tuned for more updates from our website www.mcgameland.com.
Onrpg: Thank you very much for answering our questions!
Thank you too! And thank Onrpg! Appreciate your interest on Talisman Online!

OnRPG Weekly News Roundup: Christmas Edition – December 15th – December 22th
OnRPG Weekly News Roundup: Christmas Edition – December 15th – December 22th
By Joshua Temblett (Dontkillmydreams), OnRPG Journalist
Christmas cheer has been spreading this week as many MMORPGs have been putting up their decorations and setting up their events for this big holiday! In this special edition of the weekly news roundup we’re going to look at what a few MMOs will be offering you this festive season. So put your feet up and get a cup of tea as we explore what these magical worlds have to offer.
Guild Wars: Wintersday!

Wintersday is once again upon us! You can find the cities of Kamadan, Lion’s Arch, Ascalon City, Droknar’s Forge, and the Eye of the North dressed in wonderful Christmas decorations. If you own the game then you really do owe it to yourself to check out the cities as they truly do look beautiful.
Here’s a rundown of the events on offer:
– 8v8 ATS-style Snowball Tournaments!
– Holiday quests in Lion’s Arch, Kamadan, and the Eye of the North! Certain quest chains returning from previous years involve beloved (and rare) holiday-themed animals.
– Two repeatable quests set in the Secret Lair of the Snowmen. It’s your choice: help save the Snowmen and all of Wintersday, or lead a group of Grentches for a final “bah, humbug” of the season.
– Venture into the Underworld for a series of repeatable snowball fights against the forces of Grenth or the followers of Dwayna. Seize control of piles of presents to claim victory for your side in this frosty fray!
– Embrace the old adage “it is better to give than to receive” at the city event games in Lion’s Arch and Kamadan. Deliver presents to the children before the Grentches ruin Wintersday. You never know, the little urchins might reward you with something special for your generosity!
– Collectors will once again exchange items for Wintersday consumables in Kamadan, Lion’s Arch, Ascalon City, Droknar’s Forge, and the Eye of the North.
– More snowball mayhem in the form of PvP snowball fights! Random forces unite within an arena to fight for either Grenth or Dwayna. The first team to gather five presents for its patron deity wins the day. Will Grenth have his way and plunge the world into eternal winter, or will Dwayna be able to melt enough hearts to bring about an early thaw? You’ll have the final say!
Find more information on the Wintersday event page. Have a nice Wintersday! Hopefully this celebration will take your mind off the far away, Guild Wars 2.

Wizard 101: Yuletide Festival

“Twas the night before Yuletide
and all through the city.
There were candies and trees
and decorations so pretty.
Felix selling clothes
to all good girls and boys
New fancy robes,
and wands made from toys.
Merle and the teachers,
to celebrate this Yule
Wish happy holidays to all,
and to all a good duel.”
World of Warcraft: Winter Veil
The world of Warcraft (see what I did there?) has been invaded with Christmas cheer! Greatfather Winter is visiting most of the game’s major cities, so you had better make sure you’re being good and getting on his nice list! It’s not just the citizens of the world getting into the Christmas mood though as some of the bosses of Northrend have put on some fancy hats which you can gain by defeating them!
Winter Veil bosses of Northrend:
– Grand Magus Telestra (The Nexus) – Red Winter Hat
– Jedoga Shadowseeker in (Ahn’Kahet: The Old Kingdom – Red Winter Hat
– Mage-Lord Urom in (The Oculus) – Green Winter Hat
It’s not just battle armour you should prepare for this Christmas event, you should also get your kissing lips out, as who knows what will happen if you /kiss a reveler who just so happens to be standing near a spring of mistletoe. There is so much more going on WoW this holiday season, such as gift-giving, snowballs and snowmen!
Warhammer Online: Keg End
“The wheel of the seasons has turned, ushering out the sun’s last warmth with bitter blasts of northern winds. As snow creeps down to block mountain passes and lock the Warhammer world in the icy talons of winter, the citizens of the Old World raise their mugs high; the time of Keg End is at hand. In an epic celebration fraught with boasting, toasting, and epic fireworks, the Dwarfs clear out their stores of ales, beers and other intoxicating beverages in order to bring luck in the New Year and make way for a stock of better, stronger brews.”
There’s certainly a lot going on in the world of Warhammer this holiday! I think the phrase that adeptly describes this event is: “Keg End is here, with the mud and the blood and the beer!”
Make sure you check out the Keg End festival in Warhammer, just make sure you’re prepared for some heads to fly.
Champions Online: Attack of the Misfit Toys!
“Tis the season for spreading good will and good cheer,
And to celebrate the holidays, The Toymaster’s here!
He stands with his toys in Renaissance Center
With missions and presents for all who will enter.
This year the season has a sinister addition
As Black Harlequin starts up his own Yule tradition.
His holidays are all about grand escapades.
But this one may leave our heroes dismayed.
Black Harlequin likes to make toys that play rough
And the Toymaster’s shop simply has too much fluff.
So the villain “improved” all the toys that were there
He even built Clarence, a HUGE teddy bear!
He worked through the night, right up until dawn
And when the sun rose, like a flash he was gone
The snow started falling, the season was nigh
And boxes appeared on streets low, and roofs high…
Join the Champions in defending Millennium City from the Attack of the Misfit Toys.”
This super special holiday event has you chasing around the Black Harlequin to save the day! There are lots of rewards, so don’t be dismayed!

Destiny Online Interview: Keeping Up with Good Features Includes FaceBook
Questions by Mohammed Afzal, OnRPG Journalist
Answered by Mackenzie Ma, Media Relations Manager for Destiny Online
Onrpg: Could you introduce yourself, please?
Mac: My name is Mackenzie Ma and I’m the Media Relation Manager of Destiny Online.
Onrpg: The most obvious question had to be asked… Why did you change the game’s name from Legend of Golden Plume to Destiny Online?
Mac: Well, the back ground story of Destiny Online was originally based on an ancient Chinese legend in which “plume” could be seen as a centre point, a crux. In our game we do have these “Golden Plumes” planned as part of the storyline. And if you can collect all seven Golden Plumes, you will be able to produce some kind of ultimate weapon with them (the details of which we are keeping under wraps for now!). However the game has not yet been developed to the stage where we can reveal that weapon just yet. So we figured we should change the name to a more understandable one. “Destiny” was actually selected by our players on our forums, where we tend to ask for our player’s opinions on a regular basis. It really is a cool name, and we feel it fits closer to the game at this stage. And furthermore, Destiny Online is much easier to remember. We also feel that it fits more closely with our X Online branded image.

Onrpg: One of the most important features of Destiny Online is the Pet System. What’s so special about Destiny’s Pet System?
Mac: Most of the pets in Destiny Online actually used to be monsters. You want a pet? Go catch a monster. Instead of killing monsters, you can choose to catch monsters and turn them into your own pet. So in the different stages of your game play, you can always have the most suitable pet for you. Also we released a new feature called Pet Farm in our second expansion pack in October. It extended the Pet System of Destiny Online to a more colorful stage. In Pet Farm not only can you raise pets but you can also have pets that work for you. It provides lots of interaction between the characters and their pets. So in conclusion, pets play a pretty big role in Destiny Online. Having the right pet and training it right sometimes could be critical to your success in the world of Destiny Online.
Onrpg: Can you ride your pets as well? How does that work?
Mac: So far pets in our game can’t be ridden yet, but who knows what the future holds. However, we do have a selection cool mounts to ride. From fierce Polar Bears to the more extraordinary Purple Elephant, the choice is entirely down to the player!

Brand New Mount
Onrpg: Pets can acquire new skills by using a “Pet Certificate”. Could you tell us a bit about all the skills that a pet can possess?
Mac: Sure. Pet Certificates are the way to learn extra skills beyond the random ones gifted to the pet upon their capture. In Destiny Online, pets are more than just some lovely monsters you own…if you train your pet well, get the right skills for it, it can be a crucial part of your own training. So far we have more than 60 skills for pet including defense, attack, cure and much, much more. All elements have a part to play, fire, water, thunder and earth. Every pet can have at most 10 skills. With these skills, pets can be your assistant during your fight against monsters. And they sure can be really strong.
Onrpg: Experienced players can help out new players by establishing a Master-Apprentice relation. How does this work and what are the benefits?
Mac: The Master-Apprentice System is a special feature of Destiny Online. We built this system because we don’t want to leave anyone behind and we hope the newcomers can have just as much fun as others in game. With the Master-Apprentice System, the master will receive extra EXP bonus when the apprentice levels up, while the apprentice gains certain attribute bonuses (PA/MA) and EXP sharing (10% extra). It pretty much shows the spirit of the game community, helping others and having fun together. Of course, we also encourage in-game Masters to act as a real life one would, and to help guide our players in the right direction, or even to help them train their apprentices up! It’s just something that you find happens in the spirit of the game!

Level Up with extra EXP
Onrpg: Having a Wedding System in a game sounds pretty awesome. What are the requirements to marry?
Mac: The requirement is pretty simple actually. As long as both of the characters are above Level 30 and they are single in game, they can get married. We tried having more stringent requirements earlier on in the game’s development, but eventually decided that there should be no bars to love!
Onrpg: What are the benefits of marrying someone ingame?
Mac: I think it’s really fun to have an in-game wife or husband to fight together with in-game. Moreover, in Destiny Online there are three special skills are only available for married couples. For example, you can transport your spouse to your side instantly, you can cover your spouse’s damage or you can even both receive extra PA and MA. It adds extra fun to the game.
Onrpg: Being part of a tribe, better known as a guild, gives players the opportunity to chat with their friends and meet new players. Are there any other benefits for joining a tribe?
Mac: Yeah, just like what you said, being in a tribe is one of the best ways to make friends in game. Besides, in Destiny Online, we have special Tribe Skills that you have to join a tribe to learn. Those skills could be really important to character building. You can get yourself massive stat boosts from the skills and really give yourself an edge over the competition! And also tribal way is one of the many fun parts of the game. The excitement of team work with your buddy can only be experienced while in a tribe. Nothing is quite so satisfying as working together to fight one of the daily tribal bosses, or strive to save an extra few silver to help boost up the skills available from your tribe! This really helps build the community spirit!
Onrpg: That means that Destiny Online has couple skills, tribe skills, basic skills, combat skills and some “Life skills”. Could you give us some information about the life skills and their exact purpose?
Mac: Life skills in Destiny Online so far are mostly related to crafting. You can learn to make advanced Potions, Weapons, Armor, Boots, Rings, Necklace, etc. The skills in Destiny have both variety and depth, and it will take a long time and quite some effort for a player to learn them all. With Life Skills, you may craft unique equipment of your own. So it is one essential part of our Skill System.

Casual D.O. Game
Onrpg: The Pet Farm feature has been released last month. It seems very appealing and unique, but it is pretty confusing for many players. Would you mind informing our readers about this amazing feature?
Mac: Well, ever since we released the Pet Farm feature, we have become aware of the big interest it gained from our players. And it really is a very special feature. Basically, everyone can have a farm to raise pets. As the farm owner, you can catch all kinds of pets to be your worker pets. Different worker pets provide different elements which will lead to different outcomes from the process. As long as you get the element formula right, you will get whatever mutant pet or item you want. And they are not just there to look pretty, they actually have bonus stats. So, it’s pretty cool. Pet Farm is kind of like a mini game in the game. And right now we are working on more function of the Pet Farm which will allow more interaction between players. And we really hope it could make our community even more active.
Onrpg: Destiny Online players are not satisfied with the current content of the game. Are you going to release anything special in the near future? Could you tell us a bit about these upcoming updates?
Mac: I do have some very fresh news to share. There are a lot more features we will provide to our players in the future. And the first of which is already on its way. We will release 7 special instances in a few weeks. These instances have never-seen-before new maps and lots of cool monsters. They will provide really fresh gameplay experiences to the players. And also, the new tribal war system (which I think is maybe the most exciting new features in our plan) will be brought to the forefront. The rules have been totally re-designed together with a bunch of new maps and new equipment. So this will definitely spice it up a bit! And also there will be new stuff like protecting the buff and scrambling spot. The exact details of these features will be released closer to the time however. So the new tribal war will be much more intense an experience and fun to play.

PetVille FaceBook Game
Onrpg: PetVille, a Facebook application, has been released this month. Could you tell our readers a bit more about this application?
Mac: Sure. Destiny PetVille is a Facebook application that was built based on Destiny Online. You can consider it as a “Spin-off” of Destiny Online. Facebook provides a way we can communicate with our players more directly and more instantly and we do actually have a pretty active community on Facebook. So the application is made to help the communication to be in a more fun way. You can choose a pet from Destiny Online in that application and then use the pet to do interactions with your friends, like kiss or hug. Every interaction will either get you or cost you some Pet Points. Of course the key point of the application is to have fun with your friends, the Pet Points can be seen as bonus. They will be able to be exchanged into the currency of Destiny Online.
Onrpg: I have read on your site that you pay players for playing Destiny Online. That sounds pretty…. strange. Could you tell us how it works?
Mac: This is another unique feature that we have in Destiny Online. What we mean by “Pay you to play” is that for each hour you are in game, you will be paid some bonus “Gold Points”. And Gold is the precious in-game currency which in most cases can only be purchased with real-life money. With “Gold”, you can buy so many goodies in the Destiny Item Mall. We think giving our players free Gold can help those who don’t spend real money on game to also enjoy all the different functions too. So the difference of game experience between them is pretty small. We don’t want Destiny Online become those game which only those who spend money can enjoy. The “pay you to play” feature is our way to thank our players and it also make the economy in-game more active.

Celebrate Christmas in Destiny Online
Onrpg: Is there anything else you would like to mention?
Mac: As you know, Destiny Online is provided by enjoymmo.com. Our goal is to be the best online game provider with the best service for the players. Besides Destiny Online, we also have Magic World Online, Phoenix Dynasty Online and Zodiac Online (which has recently been released into it’s final CB stage now). We want to grow with our players who are really supportive and we will try our best to provide the most memorable game experience for them.
Onrpg: Thank you for your time!
