Jagex Announces Transformers Universe Founders Packs

Jagex Games Studio, makers of the multi-award winning fantasy MMORPG RuneScape, and global toy and games company Hasbro Inc., today announced the launch of the TRANSFORMERS Universe Founders program, giving TRANSFORMERS fans a chance to be immortalized in the Founders Honor Roll, reap in-game rewards and currency (‘relics’), the opportunity to secure a strictly special edition TRANSFORMERS Universe figurine, as well as other high-value extras.

There are four available packs on offer to players — bronze, silver, gold and cybernite — and all Founders will be immortalized in the Founders Honor Roll. The packs themselves are competitively priced, with full details now available at http://www.transformersuniverse.com/founders-pack, and offer players scalable value-added extras.

The extras are fully dependent on the pack purchased, but will range from equipment bundles, warrior upgrades and in-game tools, through to exclusive warriors and body kits. Founders will also be awarded in-game currency, season passes, free access to timed-exclusive warriors at launch and other in-game bonuses. For those Founders taking advantage of the top level cybernite pack they will receive a 50cm tall TRANSFORMERS Universe figurine that has been specially commissioned for the game, with a very limited worldwide run.

All Founders packs, of varying levels of value and content, are priced accordingly and are available for purchase today, Wednesday, April 30, guaranteeing all Founders a place on the Founders Honor Roll along with an exclusive Founders forum avatar immediately on purchase.

Trials of Ascension Starts Finish Line Challenge

Forged Chaos is announcing the start of a “Finish Line Challenge” to help push fundraising for Trials of Ascension.

ToA’s store will celebrate its four month anniversary on May 4th, and supporters have pushed the game with nearly a $10,000 per month average donation level. The new “Finish Line Challenge” offers a series of goals that will reward all backers with exclusive rewards that will be unavailable anywhere else in Trials of Ascension. Every dollar donated also gets entered in a raffle for one of five demo passes.

The deadline for the Finish Line Challenge is May 4, 11:59pm, leaving four and a half days for backers to raise over $5,000. You can find the challenge here.

Games of Glory

Games of Glory is a MOBA-crossover, inspired by different video game genres. It borrows the fundamentals from MOBAs and integrates a faster action controls and flexibility in weapon choices from shooters. The persistent universe and social aspects are inspired by MMOs, and the opportunities to customise your clones come from Hack & Slash games.

Features:

Action oriented combat mechanics: The game is changing the established rhythm of MOBAs as well as some of the basic notions of game play. No auto-attacks with weapons, new types mechanics like “white damage”, faster movement and other innovations puts the player in the midst of frenetic battles.

Gameplay designed for team-play: Games of Glory is above all a game to be played in teams, built on the collaboration between players. Each team has Clones that complement each other with their skills, and with similar functions as those classes traditional in existing MOBAs: Tank, Carry, Scout, Assassin, Support.
Each team elects a captain who suggests tactics in real time, and organises the team around the different objectives in the game.

Varied selection of weapons: During each match, each player has the choice which weapons to choose and how they will evolve. Weapons for close combat as well as lasers and rocket launchers gives the opportunity to vary the way each Clone is played from match to match. In the middle of a fight the player has the ability to change weapons and surprise his opponents.

Personalization of Clones: Each Clone has numerous exchangeable pieces of equipment which change its appearance, so the player can create a unique style. Through different types of uniforms, team specific skins and many other alternatives the player can create his own original Clone.

Fall Schematic

Fall Schematic is a combination of a digital role playing game for mobile and a physical cooperative card game, which work together and synergize to offer a new gaming experience. Take part in a vibrant, techpunk universe and discover the mysteries of the Autumn Network.

Digital RPG: Join one of four factions, recover and build SubRoutines, and assemble a custom crew to head into battle against The Glitch.

Grey Goo

Grey Goo is a real time strategy game that aims to emphasis tactics over micro-management. Ally with one of three factions – the Beta, Humans, or Goo – and find yourself in the heart of war on Ecosystem Nine.

Features:

Three Factions: Play as the adaptable Beta, the impervious humans, or the dangerously unpredictable Goo, each with their own units and tactics to master.

Darkfall Holding Anniversary Party Weekend: Play For Free

Darkfall Free Weekend

Darkfall’s Community Lead has announced that the game will host a special extended anniversary party weekend between May 1 and May 5.

All players – new or returning – will be invited to play Darkfall Unholy Wars for free. Players will be granted Double Prowess points during the event. Additional special events, including a Treasure Hunt and a GM event, will also take place during the weekend. More details can be found here.
