Forsaken World Awakening Expansion Now Available
Today, Perfect World Entertainment Inc., a leading publisher of widely-acclaimed free-to-play MMORPGs, announced Awakening, the 16th expansion for Forsaken World, is now available. This new update allows players to battle the most difficult bosses in the game on the new Ever Abyss map, while introducing an increased level cap, new gear instances and the new Elemental Relics System.
In the game’s last expansion, Vengeance, the inhabitants of Eyrda led a successful offensive against Storm Legion which opened the path to Freedom Harbor. Awakening begins as they embark on a treacherous journey along the River Styx, only to discover that their path has been blocked by a magical seal. In order to continue, they must summon the help of the Rose Princess, Ayrshi, who will grant them awakening powers to break the seal. Once they have completed this task, they must brave the darkness of the Ever Abyss, where they will face off against evil arch-demons and complete exciting new quests for rewards.
Forsaken World: Awakening introduces a host of new content and gameplay updates, including:
- Level Cap Increase – The game’s level cap has been increased from 90 to 100, allowing players to receive new main story quests and earn EXP/Soul Power faster than ever.
- New Map: The Ever Abyss – Players can journey through the unexplored pits of the Ever Abyss, where they will battle arch-demons and their savage minions for rewards.
- Three New World Bosses – Eyrda’s forces must join together to battle against Awakening’s three new world bosses – Renkailao (the bone dragon), Apepeos (the winged snake), and Galal (the giant serpent). These powerful creatures will appear in the Ever Abyss 48 hours after each weekly maintenance and require at least 30 players to defeat them.
- New Elemental Relic System – Completing challenges may earn players an Elemental Relic, which can be upgraded in a new gear slot to increase stats or infused with a Relic Spirit to make characters even more powerful.
- New Gear Instances – Level 90 players can team up in parties of three to participate in Awakening’s three new gear instances – The Bottomless Inferno, Gorge of Bravery and Ruin of Calamities.
- New God: The God of Retribution – By participating in any of the Vengeance map events, players will be entered into a competition created by the God of Retribution. The player who has killed the most bosses within each server will gain the ability to transform into the God of Retribution for a limited time.
- Other Updates – Awakening also introduces new pets, mounts, attributes and gear, plus a new level for the Phoenix Order, Dragon Order and Faith Order.
Spellweaver Card Game Coming to Steam February 1
Spellweaver, the free to play collectible card game, is proud to announce their official worldwide launch onto Steam and other platformer on February 1st, 2016. Spellweaver is the brainchild of a Bulgarian National Champion Magic the Gathering player, Ivko Stanilov. The game features many unique twists on well known card game designs as well as several completely new elements.
The features that set Spellweaver apart from other games are as follows:
-
Hero Skills – 18 different heroes are available, each with their own unique ability. Additionally, each hero can equip 2 additional skills during play, allowing the creation of thousands of different hero combinations.
-
6 Aspects (Colors) To Mix – Freely mix your hero’s aspect with the 5 others for a wide variety of deck combinations. Elves with undead, wizards and priests, the possibilities are nearly endless.
-
Creature Speed – Creatures are comprised of 3 attack stats instead of just two. Health and Damage, as you’d find in most other games, but also Speed. Creatures with higher speed can not be blocked by creatures with lower speed, but as a result tend to have weaker stats or higher costs. It is important for a competitive deck to have a solution to both high and low speed enemies!
-
Support Line – Combat in Spellweaver primarily takes place on the front line of the playing field. However, each player has a support line in front of them as well. The support line creatures cannot attack without a special ability, but are also immune to creatures attacking them. Dealing with dangers on the support line is another important principle for competitive play!
-
World Map & Quests – Spellweaver is a free to play game with a generous supply of daily quests and rewards to earn. The team strongly believes in allowing a dedicated player the opportunity to earn enough money and cards to create any competitive deck they want. Payment may get you there faster, but with plenty of AI enemies and friendly matches to play, there’s no shortage of ways to earn your deck the hard way.
-
Built in Tournaments – With multiple different tournament styles, each with their own unique sets of challenges, there’s no end to the challenges and triumphs you can experience. Some tournaments are free, others require tickets, which can be earned via quests or purchased. Fame, glory, and cosmetic upgrades await the victors!
