Control Receives New Story-Focused Trailer and Announces Livestream

Remedy’s new ‘Control’  trailer sets up the unique and ever-changing world that comes in this game, which juxtaposes our familiar reality with the strange and unexplainable. After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, players will take on the role of Jesse Faden (Courtney Hope), the new Director struggling to regain Control. This sandbox-style, gameplay-driven experience built on the proprietary Northlight engine will challenge players to master a combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts, and reactive environments while fighting through the deep and mysterious worlds Remedy is known and loved for.

Remedy Entertainment, to help get people into this world, will be hosting a global livestream, direct from their development studio beginning today (Dec. 20th) at 8 am PST, with a VOD to follow shortly thereafter. Featuring Game Director Mikael “Mixu” Kasurinen, Lead Actress Courtney Hope (Quantum Break, “The Bold and the Beautiful”), Remedy Communications Director Thomas Puha and hosted by Control Community Manager Vida Starcevic the livestream will offer a deeper discussion around the “World” trailer and a look at how far the game has come since its debut at E3 2018, as well as present the community with an opportunity to ask questions about the game via chat on their Twitch channel.
