Steel Division 2’s Official Beta is Now Live

Eugen Systems is proud to announce that the first Steam Beta of Steel Division 2 has officially begun, ahead of the May 2nd release date. Anyone who pre-ordered a version of the game, whether it was on Steam, Gamesplanet or The Humble Store can join in on the beta. It began at 7 am PST, Wednesday, March 27th, and will run for 48 hours. Another four beta phases of 48 hours each will be held in the month of April leading up to the game’s full launch on May 2nd.

Divinity: Fallen Heroes is an upcoming tactical game that marries RPG elements with strong tactical gameplay, and continues the story of Divinity: Original Sin 2. Now that a new evil is on the rise, it’s up to you to command The Lady Vengeance. It will bring new mechanics and experiences to the D:OS2 engine and is coming later this year.

This War of Mine: Stories – Father’s Promise Available on iOS and Android

11 bit studios have announced that This War of Mine: Stories – Father’s Promise is now available on both iOS and Android as a premium stand-alone game. This War of Mine gave a unique perspective on war games, showing the punishing and cruel struggles of civilians instead of the combatants. This War of Mine: Stories – Father’s Promise is set in the universe of the original game. It will tell the story of a family that struggles to preserve the last pieces of humanity in times of true despair. Adam is a father trying to save his daughter from the horrors of war and to ultimately escape a besieged city. Love, hate, sacrifice, and more will be shared in these darkest of days. This title is available on both digital outlets for 1.99.

Father’s Promise introduces:

  • A harrowing storyline based on an audio-drama by famous Polish author, Łukasz Orbitowski

Dead or Alive 6 World Championship Announced

Dead or Alive 6 World Championships

Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA announced today that the Dead or Alive 6 World Championship, which will have 10 million yen (JPY) on the line in cash and prizes. This will be a global esports competition, with qualifiers held in the US, Europe, and Asia. The tournaments will kick off on April 20th, 2019 in Lyon France at THE MIXUP.  Players will be able to earn one of 16 total spots in the Dead or Alive 6 World Championship Finals at this tournament.

By competing in the DOA6WC, players will earn ranking points based on their tournament performance, allowing them to be ranked on the official DOA6WC leaderboard. The more ranking points a player accumulates, the higher on the leaderboard they will climb. At the end of the tournament circuit, 16 fighters will advance to the finals. There will be 11 placements from the three regional leaderboards; with the top five from the U.S., top three from Asia, and top three from Europe advancing to the finals.

Key tournament stops in the United States will be during CEO 2019 in Florida (June 28th-30th), Summer Jam 13 in Philidelphia (August 30th-September 1st), Kumite in Texas 2019 (September 13th-15th), and The East Coast Throwdown in New Jersey (October 18th-20th). Endless Space 2’s ‘Muck & Makers’ Free Update Out Now

Endless space 2 Muck & Makers

Endless Space 2 has a free update that’s now available via Games2Gether, called “Muck & Makers”. A space-dump fairy tale awaits, starring a clumsy-but-lovable amphibian hero. With this update comes a minor faction that’s bent on turning trash into treasure, and a new quest called “Munchie Madness”. Games2Gether is a collaborative video game co-creation platform, and to claim this new update, players just need to go to the Gamers2Gether platform and select the update from the rewards page, and it will immediately install on their Steam account.

Back in January, during the Endless Free Weekend, they challenged players to explore 3.5 million systems. Since the players succeeded, this update is now available for free to everyone. It includes the following:

1) Hero – Fore Sagazh Jabble: A carefree, curious and accident-prone creature, integrated to the society of Heroes when an Academy explorer ship arrived to study their planet.

2) Minor Faction – Basryxo: This society evolved in the detritus of what is essentially a garbage planet, as myriad forms of waste were dumped on the world for centuries. Starting from ragged scavengers to become pragmatic and efficient recyclers, they have learned to turn garbage into gold.

3) Quest – Munchie Madness: The coolest, tastiest treat across the galaxy is a new fast food, Haroshuarm. The trend has taken settled planets by storm, but unfortunately, the incredible leap in take-out consumption has created vast quantities of garbage, that you will need to handle…
