Battletech: Urban Warfare Expansion Released

Urban Warfare is the latest expansion for BATTLETECH, and arrives today, bringing the fight to the streets in all new ways. It is available for 19.99 and is also a part of the BATTLETECH Season Pass. This expansion will add challenging lines of sight, forgotten technologies, and new street features, but isn’t without its dangers. Floods, explosions, and ECM are always waiting for the unwary Battletech pilot. Electronic Warfare, once lost has returned, and mechs with ECM (Electronic Countermeasures) will obscure themselves and nearby friendlies from enemy targeting systems. They will also be immune to direct fire.

Battletech pilots can also look forward to two new mechs – the Experimental Raven 1X, and the Javelin. The Javelin is a blend of speed and firepower, which hosts close-range knockout power, where the Raven 1X has ECM and Active Probe Systems in a lightweight system. There are, of course, new Flashpoints, new enemy vehicles, encounters and so much more. But the biggest change is probably the Urban Combat. Battles in the streets will offer new challenges, but they are also fully destructible – if those homes or buildings are in the way, nuke ’em out of the way!

BATTLETECH and the Flashpoint DLC are available at a discount on Steam to celebrate the explosive launch of Urban Warfare, with the discount available until Friday, June 7, 2019, at 19:00 CEST (10:00 AM PDT).

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 Receives Chaos Campaign in June 2019

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is receiving a massive update on June 24th, 2019 – The Chaos Campaign update! It will add a ton of updates to the game, including a fully playable Chaos Grand Campaign. The galaxy’s greatest threat will be in the hands of players, and will also release with a free Campaign Update to all players. This will add secondary objectives on all maps to create a greater degree of variable difficulty. This will include larger fleets, economy options, or even disabling features. Dozens of hours of content awaits in this update, and the Chaos Campaign expansion will be the largest update yet. The free update will hit the same day as the DLC Campaign (June 24th).

Warhammer: Chaosbane Launch Trailer

Warhammer: Chaosbane is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, offering the first action RPG experience in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world.

Swords of Gargantua Release Date Revealed

Swords of Gargantua, a virtual reality swordsmanship game, has announced it will launch on June 6, 2019, for Steam and Oculus.

The game is “cross-buy enabled,” meaning that players will be able to play either on Oculus Rift or Oculus Quest when purchased on the Oculus store. It also supports cross-platform multiplayer, so friends can battle each other regardless of their VR equipment.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Story Trailer

Capcom has released a new story trailer for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, its upcoming new expansion set to release globally on September 6, 2019 for console (PC release at a later date).

Iceborne welcomes players to Hoarfrost Reach, a new region larger than any previously discovered. Players will venture out to hunt old series favorites as well as brand new monsters, and utilize new weapon combos in their hunt for glory. The storyline unlocks after Hunter Rank 16.

Pre-orders are now available for the expansion alongside a “Master Edition” that includes the base game.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York Teaser

Polish developer Draw Distance has revealed its first teaser for the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York.

The game promises to be a single-player atmospheric game presenting the struggle between two vampiric factions, Camarilla and Anarchs, and players will be able to choose to play from several vampire Clans and Disciplines. In addition to multiple endings based on player choices, players will also be able to build their own coterie and immerse themselves in the Vampire: The Masquerade lore.

The game is scheduled to arrive on Steam and Nintendo Switch at the end of 2019.

Jumanji: The Video Game To Launch In November 2019

Bandai Namco announced today that with Outright Games and Funsolve, they will collaborate with Sony Pictures to create Jumanji: The Video Game. This officially licensed title will be based on the Jumanji film franchise and will release on November 15th, 2019. Players will control Jumanji’s greatest heroes, as they seek the precious Jewels of Jumanji to save the world and get home. However, bands of marauders and exotic creatures will bar the way. Up to four players can team up online, or in split-screen mode, to tackle new Jumanji environments.  Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Franklin “Mouse” Finbar or Professor Shelly Oberon can be played, and use their skills to keep each other alive. It will release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Re-Legion Announces Upcoming ‘Holy Wars’ Update

Re-Legion announced a brand-new free content update that will be hitting very soon – Holy Wars! It arrives in the cyberpunk game on June 14th. It will add the highly-anticipated Skirmish mode and is a fine addition to the story campaign. In Skirmish mode, you fight against AI cult for domination over the city, citizens’ souls and to prove that you are the true and only Prophet. Players choose the difficulty that is used against them, the map that is played on, and the creed of their Cult. Each Creed gives a different set of skills and dogmas.

Apart from the Skirmish mode, the new free update will introduce a number of the community suggested features such as the Slow-Mo that allows you to slow down time enabling you to observe the battlefield from a new perspective and analyze the situation. You can give out orders and use units’ skills to tip the scales in your favor.
