Kogamu Announces Phase 2 Of Its Not So Closed Beta

The kind folks over at Facebook MMO Kogamu have let us know that their 'Closed' Beta 2 starts Thursday, September 23 at 5pm PT!

These are some of the new features of the new version:

- PvP Dueling system (click a player and select "Duel")
- Crafting system (click steaming cauldron to craft your own items)
- Prowess Quests (replay certain dungeons with skill and time-based challenges)
- New Dungeon area: Tower of Skulls
- New dungeons: Acid Rainforest, Oni Temple, Shrine of Reflection, Wurmschloss
- New quests: Getting Difficult, Stylin', Grueling Cave, Master of the House, You're-a the Explorer, Timing is Everything, Difficult Timing, On Assignment, A Pretty Purse, Creature Preacher, The Tower of Skulls, The Dark Hand, Housecleaning, Dragonslayer
- New monsters: Manticore, Manticore Sparktail, Lost Girl
- New bosses: Vomitus (Acid Rainforest), Bearer of the Black Doll (Oni Temple), Dark Spirit (Shrine of Reflection), Skelaxis (Wurmschloss)
- New town area: Shibuya-York
- Revamped skills with more skills/upgrades
- Added Misses and Overkills
- Redone tutorial quests and initial set to improve onboarding and story
- Game mechanics changed to allow sliding under/jumping over projectiles
- Doubles working properly (when two players attack a monster)
