Knight Online: Forgotten Frontiers Expansion Part 4



Expanded PVP Experience:

Death and destruction are found everywhere within the land of Carnac. The nations of El Morad and Karus, brothers of blood until the very end. Their battle has carried on through the ages and has shaped the creation of the world. They have always fought for their own reasons and their mutual hatred of each other. The discovery of new lands and treasures will surly flame the fires of hatred as each seeks a position of dominance. However, these new lands hold a curse and a darkness that threatens to overtake all the people of Carnac. Which nation will overcome the growing evil? Which nation will rise above their enemies in treasure and power? The fate of each nations lies within the power of few and they will steer the course of history.

The castles of Oreads have been fortified and are ready to withstand the toughest of attacks. The fight to control this territory will be an exciting experience for players and will take not only the strength of your nation, but the strategic mastery of the kings of old. Each castle will be armed with the latest in siege and defensive weaponry to ward off castle invaders. Attackers will either need to tear through the front gates, or break down the castle walls to gain entry. Before players reach the opposing castle, they will have to traverse over areas with varying degrees of power over their attributes. This map was featured in World Championship competition and will change the way traditional battles were fought.

Along with the addition of new end-game content, a new zone will be added to give Knights in training the opportunity to test their skills. Ronark Land Base is a brand new zone for characters level 35-69. The landscape is reminiscent to the mysterious formations and structures present in the new frontiers. Unlike Oreads this zone will not be tied to the Lunar Wars schedule and will always be open and ready for battle. Players will still earn Nation Points for coming out the victor.

Players looking for a less formal way to attack the opposing nation will look to the Dominion of Krowaz as a new hang out. Outside of this instance traps await players at every turn, and for those not careful enough will invoke a penalty of 200 Nation Points added to the cost of every death. Knights will surely want to use this as an opportune time to strike when their opponents are must vulnerable. With danger everywhere, players will need to mind their surroundings if they want to have a hope of surviving.

A departure from the norm is the motivation behind the changes over at Ronark Land. Strange monsters have begun to invade and a tower has been built in the center of the map. To capture the zone, players must now fight to control the tower. Victory will result not only in Nation Points, but also cause the NPCs needed to complete all new Mission Quests to appear. Mission quests are a new timed event that upon starting will send out a message to the entire zone, altering opposing factions it’s time to strike. It is also here where Knights will be able to gather items for the manufacturing of new weapons and armors. Each of these new pieces of equipment will be necessary to defeat the evil all around them.
