League of Legends Raises $160,000 for Japan!

Riot Games today announced that League of Legends players have raised over $160,000 for victims of the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. From March 21 to March 27, Riot committed 100% of proceeds from the champion Akali and the Nurse Akali skin to the American Red Cross, and over 50,000 members of the League of Legends community came together to contribute to the relief effort. Donations benefited the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami fund.
