The Secret World Gets New Game Director

Lead Content Designer for The Secret World, Joel Bylos has taken over as the new Game Direct. Ragnar Tørnquist and Scott Junior will remain in the positions they previously held. The official announcement also gave the name of Issue 3 which is The Cat God.

 

 

Mortal Online Hosts Free Week

Mortal is hosting a free week of gameplay which started last Friday. They are inviting everyone to have a look at the changes that have been made to the game recently. The event started on Friday and will run through the week.

 

 

German Consumer Group Targets Steam

Steam has come under attack once again from a European Consumer group over its EULA which they say don’t meet the standards of local law. This time around a number of German consumer groups have gone after Steam because it does not allow the resale of digital items which by law is required. Those who opt out of the EULA find themselves unable to play any of their previously purchased games. The consumer groups have given Valve until September 26th to respond to the charges before legal action is sought.
