Hey!
We are currently in need of some decent artists to help out on a persistant web based game. Now before you all start *sigh*ing and things. We have already dont most of the hard work, the game we are developing is already up and running online with over 100 accounts. However as its still in *alpha* test phase we are constantly adding new content and trying to finish any of the art content that needs doing.
The game is not a commercial venture, so we are not trying to make any profit for it, so see it more of a spare time project rather than a way to make money. The game in its current state is just a way for us to test the actual framework behind it and iron out any bugs that we find before we release the first version of it.
We have various people helping out on the project, all of who have relevent skills in their industry and are doing this as a side project. So its not a 13 year old posting about how he wants to make a game because he thinks its cool.
What we are looking for:
- Experience with Photoshop or Gimp
- Experience with pixel art or pixel animations (if looking for pixel based art)
- Experience with large fantasy image creation
- Would be beneficial if you had some web design experience (css, xsl, xhtml)
- Would be beneficial if you had experience with Flash
