Still Worth Getting?

What I can tell from guildwars.mmosite.com. Guild Wars still seems really updated and quite nice. Should I buy it still?

The only updates Prophecies has gotten since Factions has come out is skill balances.

Most people suggest that you play Prophecies first to learn about the game before jumping into Factions, but Prophecies will feel very boring late-game unless you also get Factions.

How long does the game last? For both expansions?

Depends on your skill, luck and patience really.
One mission which is notorius in Tyria (prophecies) Is Thunderhead Keep - this mission could take you days or even a month to complete if you keep goign it wrong.

Some people spoil their fun and pay for a runner who takes them from point A - Z - never had or needed a runner

no one does.

Yeh so Prophecies could take from mabye 4 weeks to however long it takes you to finish with ever detail (which could amount to over 2 years. With Titles of course!)

I havent finished Factions yet because im having intense trouble in one area and ive had the game for about 2 months almost.

I think GuildWars is worth it. It's just pretty unique, and the PvPing Only Characters can be fun once you've ran all your role playing juices

i have a large number of games and i find that im active on guild wars the most i have factions as well, i highly recommend getting the game and starting off on the first game first as it will teach you how to play properly, the game takes a long time, and it changes alot as well guild wars is one of my favourite games and i really think you should go for it.

I got GW: Prophecies [Special Edition] for £19.99 today.
I think I bought Factions for £24.99.

So... £45 for 2 huge games with super duper fun playability isn't too bad.
