Default olympics question

up to how many events can 1 person participate in? and this is just in case someone says "all of them", but is it possible for 1 person to enter all the events and win a gold medal for all of them? im not asking if its physically possible but if its possible, or are they gonna stop him from participating in events after getting a couple of medals

im pretty sure it's possible, but he'd have to be achilles, because first they have to qualify for all of the events, and that would mean being god at every sport.

Max is around 5. Physically it's hard, but it's also difficult to fit that in your time schedule. They're not going to delay an event for one athlete. I really have no clue, but they put a limit on HS track&field for 4 events per athlete, so Im just basing off that.

accesx, it's impossible that the max is 5.

Spitz won 7 golds in the olympics.

Phelps is competing for 8, thats what the Buzz is this year, if Phelps can pwn Spitz's record.

Well, like I said, I really have no clue, I guess the events they compete in just can't overlap each other.

Im pretty sure 7 or 8 golds mean total golds they've won during their whole olympics career. (2000, 2004 etc)

Oh btw, phelps already got 9
