Listen to high octane music when you read it. That's how I get around the sound issue. The art, however, is just the same as the anime later on, and everything is very clearly depicted. You will feel a punch when it's thrown and connected, much like you would when watching the anime.

hmm theres no more other nicer anime for boxing imo, tommorw's joe doesn't look so nice either lol

It's a classic, so of course it would look like crap as opposed to HnI.
