No it has nothing to do with MGS.
SO I had an idea. Everyone's got their favorite programs and websites that most people have never heard of. Since the intarwebz is an information superhighway, one can easily get stuck in a routine and never learn anything new on the 'web. *I know this because I got stuck in a loop for a while* I.e. 1. Log on 2. Check E-mail 3. Check Myspace 4. Play game 5. Check myspace 6. Stare at screen 7. ??? 8. Profit 9. Repeat 10. Log off It happens alot, so I came up with the s3 plan, or (Software Sharing System). Basically, you get ONE post. Edit it when you find new things you like, that way if someone is curious to see what this person likes or does on his free time then you just search the thread. Think of it as a never-ending database cataloging interesting websites and software. If this gets as big as I hope it will, then people could just look through this thread to find something to do! I think this is a good idea, I find myself constantly bored and looking for things to do, but not knowing what to search for. ![]() ----------------------------------------------- For me, I've got a few cool things like: www.gigaville.com Metal Gear Solid webcomic. I swear, its intelligent, true to the story, and at times, just freakin hilarious. MGS Fans will get a huge kick out of this 500 page webcomic! http://cardgallery.tales-tra.com/main.htm SSBM-like Mugen game The game has been in development for little under a year now, and ... well just look!!!

Awesome site for news. You can get some pretty interesting science/tech news a few days before it comes out. www.badastronomy.com Site written by a PhD astronomer who debunks a lot of myths about astronomy and space in general. His blog is fascinating and it's a good way to learn a few things about the universe. Like if the Sun collapsed into a blackhole right this instant (which is impossible, but no matter) we would still circle around it like always. Only thing is we would freeze to death. www.qwantz.com My favorite webcomic. http://www.straightdope.com/columns/index.html A lot of myths and questions debunked or shown to actually be true. Because we all want to know why doctors wore those shiny disks on their heads. http://itre.cis.upenn.edu/~myl/languagelog/ Written by some English professors, and deals with stuff relating to the English language, and the written word in general. |
