Neebus, I was reading some sites, and apparently the HD in the Ps3 can be fully replaced with another one, say, a pc hd. None of the sites really stated any hazards to it so I assume it is safe, although I haven't tried it. But anyway if you are in a need for more space and can get a hand on an extra HD, maybe you should consider it.

Yeah, you can fully replace a PS3 HDD with any laptop HDD.
