Default Photoshop problem!

I'm not posting this in the arts section because it's not active.

Alright, so any time I crop,
1) It only drags diagnolly. I can't adjust it to the sides.
2) When I finally manage to crop. It enlarges it by a huge amount and and flips diagnolly.

Help?

Just because the section is inactive doesn't make you posting this here any more right.
I also can't for the life of me help you with your problem. It seems rather absurd.

It seems like you set certain parameters for the crop tool. I would open PS right now to tell you mine, but it'll take it's sweet time starting up. By then, you should have an answer.

What exactly do you mean? You can only make squares with the crop tool?

Is the actual picture enlarging, or is the magnification increasing?

1) no, I can make only rectangles.
It only drags diag. and ONLY.
The actual image increases in size.

Sounds like your mistaking free transform as crop tool.

Select the crop tool, then go to Windows and make sure Options are activated. Clear the Height and Width boxes and see if you're still stuck making rectangles.

I don't know why the size of the image is changing or why the picture flips, but try clearing the Resolution box and see if that fixes part of the problem.

EDIT: Alternatively, just hit the clear button on your options bar and see if that fixes everything (with the crop tool selected).
