Its going to become another place for competition like any others. It i'll be used for nationals and stuff like that in w/e event it supports.

Maybe China can use it to become good at actual sports.

Because in my mind, weight-lifting =/= a sport. (Anyone see that beastly Chinese lady? Everyone else was lifting like 95 on their first attempt and she did like 110 with ease. Holy shit!)

lets see, The Bird Nest will be used for other compititions and used for sports. The aqua stadium will be turned into China's official swiming pool (for compititions) the base ball statium will be used for a few years then they will scrap it.
