yeah it was a close one, this was the only event he didn't get a record in, and the person who did was in that event. He almost didn't make it, in the 2 seconds left he somehow made a huge leap and past to first.

He has a really creepy smile.
When he's showing off his gold to the crowd, that smile, freaks me out.

sure, hes awesome and all, but the US other than swimming, sucks at the Olympics.

Well the guy eats twelve thousand calories a day apparently. Wouldn't suprise me this guy can "leap" to first place.

i heard he won his 7th by 0.01 seconds lulz, and thats cuz the other guy was under the water for 3 seconds and michael was actually swimming trying
i think the other dude got jipped... i heard they get DQ'ed if they look to see how far ahead they are (during the race)

lame rule in my opinion

but yeah .... wasnt someone on here dogging phelps because of how much he eats a day?

I disagree. The U.S. Volleyball team did quite good.
