This is so lame, I just purchased Half-Life 2 Episode Pack and it turns out the was no serial code :|, great how im i suppose to play, i tryed going back and getting one but they didnt have one :{, does anyone know how i can contact valve on the phone

Umm just get a keygen off the internet its rightfully yours so it totally fine

Contact gamestop. By right you should get a CD key with it. I hope you kept your receipt.

No it isn't... you have an odd sense of legality. He is entitled to a cd-key, but no one that is illegally generated or one that belongs to someone else.

Go back to gamestop and demand they give you one. A cd-key is part of the product and if it wasn't included they didn't sell you the entire product. There was also no notice on the box that there would be no cd-key included. If they refuse, demand even more till you get a manager or some crap. I would not take that.

Yes, ask to see the manager. The last thing an employee wants is some lunatic raving about how they have been mistreated to the manager. The more you yell and demand compensation, the more they will listen.

You shouldn't even need to yell just tell them you didn't get a serial and they should provide you one, since every copy of the game comes with a serial usually if you bought it , unless its a used copy then Idono if they give it. If it was a sealed copy with no serial thats really weird >.>

Wow man, you'd think to work there they'd at least require MINIMAL knowledge about stuff. I don't want to work there...even though I'm not the BEST guy when it comes to technology, it sounds like I know significantly more than these guys.

If no provable damage is inflicted, questions of legality are totally irrelevant.
What call would a claimant base his demands on?
There are always ways, but even the US judicary system shouldn't be screwed up that far...
