Till just barley, I thought people that said they couldn't run and jump on a ladder were retarded...but I guess there are actually cases. I can do it perfectly...Makes me feel a little better on how I lag. Also, here is something that might make you able to do it, (I don't have to use it...but...) Har'~

The first thing you might realize about jumping is that if you do a slow jump (a jump from walking) you can grab onto ladders and ropes. Well, if you’re like me, you’re outraged because you can’t grab onto ladders and ropes while you perform a running jump (Running and them jumping). Well, you actually can, it just requires practice. When running to a ladder, jump so that the highest of your jump is where your character goes by the ladder/rope. Now, right before you pass the rope, make your character face the opposite way of the jump and press the UP button. So, if the ladder is on your right, and you’re jumping right, press the left arrow right before you get to the ladder, and press up as you’re going by the ladder. After a few tries, you’ll be able to catch the ladder or rope during a running jump. It doesn’t always work, but when it does, you’ll feel a lot happier knowing that you didn’t have to stop running, start walking, and do a slow jump to get on the ladder.
Please be advised, I have never tried this because I have never had problems.

Edit* OH, crap, I just bumped this old thread...but well, it was never solved so there.

bumping isn't much of an issue on this board. mostly because of our small community and such.
