if you say you liked it, then is it worth $60 to you?

If you want to get it, then get it. Someone else can't tell you if you'll have fun with it or not.

Personally, I don't think games should have gone from $49.99 to $59.99, but it didn't kill the fun I've had with these new games any.

Well, I decided to get it.
I liked the combat, characters didn't annoy me, and I love the series.

Was wondering if I can change the voice acting to Japanese?

No idea, and I don't really care if you can or not. I have a...thing...With people that would rather have japanese voices over the english ones, though :P

So I tried the demo and....I got my butt kicked, reminds me when I first started star ocean...The first "actual" fight in SO (with 3 party members) beat me around till I learned not to rush in and attack things :P Same thing with the "boss" here.

That's why I love demos sometimes...They dump you into the game with no understanding of the combat system, and say "there you go!" :P

But yeah, I'll be getting this.

The Japanese versions always get better voice actors...
Though, Tales of Vesperia wasn't that bad from what I heard in the demo.
I'm actually going to buy it now, since I'm bored... I'll post something about it later on.

Edit: Maybe I'll write a full review!

would like to see a star ocean game with customizable character like in mmos or better yet star ocean online
tales of (etc) online would be pretty cool too

Either the regular enemies are insanely easy, while the bosses jump up 100x in difficulty. Or maybe I'm just very, very bad.

Or maybe the demo boosted the boss' stats to insane levels, cause I'm not sure how you beat that thing in the demo xD

(unless you need to start using mystic/buster artes against it, which I have no clue how, besides just regular artes

)
