That's completely meaningless. Notice he did not say everyone would be getting into the CLOSED beta, just THE beta. That's the case in 95% of MMORPGs that have a beta testing process anyway. Everyone gets invited... it's called open beta.

and open beta keys were never sent in "waves"
except for games that were p2p before, like rfo

You guys are on two different wavelengths, apparently. TingTing, basically, nomdep is saying that if they're going to let EVERYONE into the closed beta, it might as well be an open beta.

Sending in waves in a good thing. Prevent everyone from logging on at the same time or everyone downloading all at once. Normally, people download the client once they get their keys, not before.
