And scholar can AOE status removal where as we have to use a 10 minute ability to do that, doing so giving up an ability to double our curing.

At least you guys still get party invites. When I'm trying to level PUP I just get a lot of "PUP DD sucks". Of course my automaton does all the work, but who cares.

And hyarume, NIN has needed to be tweaked for years now(The fact that any 75 job can sub it and use Utsusemi:Ni needs to be fixed.), and their "balancing" of RNG a few years back did NOTHING.

RNG and NIN are fine...
If you actually played RNG before and after that update you'd know.
I had RNG75, and they were way overpowered. They're still strong now,
you just have to position yourself properly and be smart about it, and you
can easily be your party's best DD... but, really, do you even know what the update did?
You could melee the mob for TP and spam ranged WS and your damage wouldn't suffer at all.

As for NIN, yeah, people can cast Utsusemi: Ni with it has a sub-job,
but you get more shadows per cast with Ninja main...

People are saying PUP DD sucks because it does.
I don't know if I really care about that right now, though.
I mainly want SMN & WHM updates.

The update years ago added in a distance calculation to the RNG damage. I've honestly noticed little to no difference in their damage between then and now. Maybe its the years of abscense.

And I'm aware my DD isn't on par with, say, a DRK. However, that doesn't change the fact that either myself or my automaton are constantly pulling hate off tanks in Dunes parties. I'm HOPING that when I end up in Qufim it'll be a little less annoying, as I don't have Armor Plating II yet. Leads to a lot of overloads. <_<

Because they distance themselves properly... but their actual damage over time HAS been reduced because they can't spam WS with TP from Ranged Attacks alone.

Yes , pup DD suck for me. i'm a 53 pup atm . i regretted getting range at lvl 30 , it's so tough to skill up now . Hopefully the level sync will help , whm puppet rocks but only casting the highest tier spell and waiting for it to cooldown kinda suck .But as long as you like the job , other people opinions doesn't matter PUP ftw

or maybe because i'm a taru.. ;_;

Nice job on posting the update. Also I hope they make it to where every singe job doesnt have to sub NIN to be regarded useful. I mean, that just kills the point of every job having their own things that are useful, helpful, and unique.

Yea, thats also a thing they will improve in the future, making everyjob more unique, and in its role (Square leeked this in an interview)

Also user created dungeons, man.. that seems sooo awsome
