So, after a day of fighting level 57 knuckle warriro,knights and other super high levels that i have a hard time beating with my spear knight.

I decide to PvP today, feeling that the lower levels come out earalier in the day.

So, i take my strategy(trying to corner the opponent with a combination of whirlwind and peircing lance)

Today however i went up against a pecuilar enemy.

i will call them the 2 handed sword whiners.


Now, my stragety is to try and corner them, then win with brute force. I can do this with about every ranged class, and knights to an extent.

The two classes i can't win with brute force are knuckle users, dagger travelers, and sword warriors. Due to multiple reasons(the kunckle knights effectivly keeping me at range and being able to use midair skills, the dagger travelers keeping me at range.)

Now, the 2 handed sword warriors are the most diffucult(barring some i', level 75 and win automaticly things) So, because i can't cancel their skills with windmill and they have more damage then me, i switch to a defensive stragety that i brute force till i'm nearly dead then i try and find a healing box.

Now, i go up against a level 12 2 handed sword warrior, i start to loose the brute force fight so i try and find a health heal so i can start again.

the moment i back out of the fight i would never win(due to swords having higher ase damage) he calls me a runner.

he then says "stop running you nub, it takes all the fun out of it"
Now,wait.... PvP is a comtetiton between two people, in a competition you use everything to your advantage, he is using the advantage of being at base the strongest class that playing complete offense with a melee charcter so i used the advantage of my long reach with my spear.
(i won 5-1 kill, as he distraced me with typing during one)
So i'm a nub for using a tactic. I brush it off and try again.

I get another 2 hande sword warrior, i figure the runner thing was just some sulking newbie loosing to a bunch of people that used this tactic(i don't loose to many people usinng the tactic as i'm smart enough to use a dash attack and catch them)

S, i start again, i get into a fight, near when i'm dead i run off again, and kill him.

He calls me a ****ing runner noob, and this happens in the entire match.

So when did these 2 handed sword whiners start existing? The way this looks, latales community is getting what i call the "runescape/maplestory treatment" aka all the little 5 year old kids start noob calling and swearing up a storm.

Anyways i see this being a big complained about thing, trying to avoid 2 handed swords users being smart, because they can win a straight up fight.

And i see this as being a huge loss of people in latale, as these 2 handed sword whiners will just get bigger and bigger.
yea just happened for the third time in a row, this community is worse then maple. definatly worse
i can't win because of skill chains(just lost to a knight because i can't chain my skills without the second skill of the windmill tree, btw he was calling me a noob the entire time)

This community is driving me crazy.

It's a F2P game. Expect immature kids like that everywhere.

Anyway, I think you should not care about what they say to you. "Running" is a part of a tactic and they obviously can't handle it. Ofcourse the kid will whine, it's all they can do. Whine, whine and cry if they don't get what they want. Just rub it in their face and say "OWNED" or something.

It's called skills to 'kite' and it's also a skill to stay close in range. If we all should just stand still face to face and hit, then what's the point of having different classes?

The really sad thing? Most of the dudes that whine aren't really that young some are are in the 17+ age range. I get angry too, but I don't call people noobs.

Instead, I shake my fist in the air, curse the world, then go watch porn and masturbate.

Sorry to hear about your experience though. I never encountered a whiner yet. Even when my knight won a couple matches 9-2... against the same spear warrior xD. He was either really cool about it or decided it wasn't worth *****ing about it and went off to masturbate.

And could you explain the dagger explorers keeping you at range? Don't they have limited range or were they using their 2nd tree skills?

try PvPing against your friends then. I highly doubt the whole community is filled with people who can't stand losing and like to brag when they win.

But yea, you'll notice alot of maple-tards have joined La Tale. Once you get maple-tards, there's no going back.

yea, i realize that n-n its more of a rant thread then anything. Considering before i get to level 20 any class over level 20 can pretty much skillchain me to death(mostly because peircing lance sucks in skill chaning) so i kite(lord, i forgot the word too ) to give me a chance


Oh, i dunno, i just had a problem actally hiting him, they have a great skill chaning ability, and i'm certain one of their skills allows them to throw it.

Anyways yea.. i probably am going to hit 20 before i pvp so if one of them starts whining i can use te windmill tree and skill chain instead of running.

Sad part, the knight i faced kept calling me a noob, but actually caught me calling someone a noob should get you hit with lightning.

those guys suck, you may have noticed they also run away when they almost dead am I right? just ignore them, I enjoy it when people curse me for beating them 8-1 xD I just laugh in their faces lol. When I was spear warlord I also noticed my skills get canceled out A LOT by 2 handed warlords and they always beat me because my skills got canceled, after switching to 2 handed sword + skill reset I have noticed I win alot more now. Its just cause the windmill thing leaves you vulnerable after you do it(if you miss). If you werent meant to run around why would they put those special effect boxes all over the map =/

i'm half thinking i may blow 100k ely on a skill reset. i liked spears, but 2 handed swords are just too good >>

windmill is a great skill, peircing lance is awful, i hit about 80% of the time with windmill due to its large area of effect, but i can't chain it with peircing lance, because peircing lace sucks so much. andpvp is all about skill chains
(bow explorers are awsomely cool but weak as heck pvp wise, as far as i've seen.)

piercing skill tree is more PVE, its way too slow and being a spear warlord you can still be awesome at PVP just practise a bit, try starting off your combos with mutilple lance scroll as just as you get in their range, or jump down from ontop of somewhere and start windmilling their *** =P
and explorers of all types are good in PVP from what I seen, especially Xbow
