Ok, I have plans on starting a flash game
Action/platformer with rpg elements. Mostly light equipment customization and learning new skills and moves At first I would just want a tech demo to see if it would a work decently But it it goes well Id like to plan a full flash game. The action scripting skills you would need are.. Double jumps Dashing left and right Midair dashing left and right (Not needed, but would be nice) Attacks Heavy attacks Ranged attacks (Ranged mode will be activated at the press(And holding) of a button, and in this mode they will the use the arrow keys to aim, normal attack key is fire, heavy attack key is secondary fire, they leave this mode when they release the button) Combo attacks (combinations of attacks and heavy attacks.. of course) Magic attacks Special attacks Counter attacks (Just blocking at the exact right time)(Not needed) Saving progress (Saving the equipment they have, things they have done) Enemy AI (Not just moving back and forth, but determining when to attack based on where the player is, you know, good stuff! )Weapon changes that change animations (Different weapon types = Different animations) NPC interaction (Talking, Answering questions, Giving quests, finishing quests, receiving rewards, stuff like that) Shops Options (Audio options, Flash quality) Cut scenes Dynamic boss fights (Think shadow of colossus but in 2d) Blocking Boss AI (Different the regular enemy AI, patterns in attacks, and whatnot) Simple minigames (Nothing big..) Lastly, being able to tell me, the artist/animator, what I need to do to cooperate with your programming. This might be asking alot... But if you have the skills in actionscript and would like to make at least a simple tech demo to try out this potential game, then please let me know! |
