I more or less meet the minimum requirements yet it lags horribly. Yes, on the lowest settings too.
Does anyone have any suggestions? My xfire has my computer specs. I already tried Defragging. If nothing works i'll hope they add a lower resolution than 1024*768 or something that will make it lag less.

I think it uses forced AA and some other stuff which you can't turn off. That can make your computer chug horribly.
To be honest: WAR doesn't seem like it's very compatible with a lot of computers, despite their requirements. A lot of graphics cards are said to be not compatible with WAr's graphic engine. Another thing that gets in the way is the constant in-game loading that happens while you're playing. If you can get past the initial loading of the world...well... there are other parts besides the starting area that need in-game loading... Mythic really did an awful job with the loading portion of WAR, IMO. It's causing some many users problems.

Also, it does feel like it has AA on. I only lag THAT bad when it's on.

You basically have a system that is only going to run the game at it's bare minimum. Make sure everything is notched down as best as you can. Also, make sure to go into the preferences -> graphics menu -> customize and set Spell Effects to a lower setting. Once you get things going smoother, slowly increase stuff to where you can handle it better. However, with your weak CPU and Graphic Card you're only going to get so much. Good luck.

As you can tell, not much was changed from Closed Beta -> Open beta, and they mainly did that due to: 1) faster release(less anticipation, more time for players to test it out, faster retail release date) 2) they can get a lot more feedback this way, so they can fix the glitches all in one go. I am hoping they are working on compatability as well as their memory usage(from what I hear from elder testers, the client used to have severe memory leaks) because this is not going to work. IMHO: The overall installation and loading need a once-over because it really seems like they completely half-assed it.
