Hey guys i need some help and dunno were else to ask so decided to ask here.
I used to be scared of dogs so kept away from them but i started to like one of my friends female dogs and i aint scared of dogs anymore. Today my friend brought out a male dog which caused me to have rashes\lumps on my arms and legs and this has never happened to me before.Does this mean I'm allergic to male dogs or certain type of dog or something.I know nothing else caused the rash\lump because its my usual hangout and nothings changed there . So does this mean i am allergic to dogs? |

I don't think you can be allergic to a certain sex of animal.
Was the male dog a different breed? Possibly long-haired? Most people are allergic to dander, which clings to long haired animals. You also could have been allergic to something ON the dog, like plant spores. Theres a lot of different answers. |

my schnauzer survived parvovirus, taught herself to shit outside and learnt her name by day 2, all in all, it's like having an extra member of the family, a cute and furry one at that. |
