Even if Palin was a man, she would still be the best bet to get a good hold on the conservative base thus allowing to allow McCain to extend further into the middle without worrying about the "home front."

It's atrocious that so many people are a slave to the two party system...but it is what it is.

I'm not a "conservative" by any means and would rather be voting for someone else....but with that said, I'm not disillusioned when I vote for McCain. I know what I'm getting.

If you vote for Obama, you are unknowingly voting against our freedoms.

If anything Obama is a move toward a socialist like nanny state. If you remember, Biden was even the original architect of the assault weapons ban...which, if you know anything at all about firearms and crime, was a complete joke. At best Obama will be another Jimmy Carter.

I'm sorry but less government in my business, lower taxes, and the right to defend myself and family means more to me than some imaginary Utopian society.

Idealism is awesome...until it overrides your sense of realism .

She tried to ban books from the libaries. The Libarian fought her over that, she fired the libarian.

When she also first got into office, she sent a letter to all the heads of the various departments and told them to resign as a test of lolity.

She fired someone else because he refused to fire her now ex-brother-in-law who had done nothing wrong except for having divorced Palin's sister.

All of those things are what is called ABUSE OF POWER FOR PERSONAL REASONS.


Now, because of all these Bills that Bush has passed, he has the kind of power that can easily be abused, and he has done so, but not for personal use.
And now next in line is someone that has repeatedly abused power and for personal use, going into the white house and into a system that has had so many holes opened up for abuse.

She has no experience, she left her community in debt when she took off, she feels all women who want abortions, and get them, should be considered criminals (Even going so far as to say that if her 14 year old daughter was raped, she would not allow her an abortion), she stands against many of the very things McCain claims to be against, yet he supports her.

She believes the Iraq war is God's will.

Now I will wait for you to tell me how she is someone you want to have a say in running your country.

You know what you're getting with McCain/Palin because you've had it for eight years. Eight years of failure should be enough to make you see that Republican votes are not the way to go, when you consider that the last Democratic president was Clinton, who did quite alright.
