id rather know about it, thinking people are your friends and their always doing stuff w/o you is way worse than knowing about it and finding new people to hang with

I see...well you shouldn't skip the good moments because of the fear to lose someone. Otherwise, no one would ever want to be in a relationship.

The pain of certainty is much easier to get over than the pain of uncertainty.

Being told you have cancer is less stressful than sitting there waiting for the results, for example.

In other areas, though, such as having a crush...I dunno. We've all been in a situaton where we've preferred to live with the fantasy as opposed to finding out for sure nothing will happen, but if we ever have been rejected, we probably know it's easier to move on from.

i become "buddies" then causually ask about something more. if she is like no, continue being buddies and just be cool

I think everyone should make their feelings towards others 100% clear. Unless they are negative. Negative feelings should only be expressed when asked for an honest opinion. (example: If you are in love with your best friend, go tell him or her. Shit. Don't let it bother you or the rest of your life with what COULD have been. Now, if you don't like someone, don't make it clear unless they ask "what do you think of me". You shouldn't just walk up to someone and go off on them, lol.)
