the game's crowded with botters, and unless yout pay money you don't get 24hour server access. But it's fun enough if you're willing to put a little moey into it (although there are alot better things you could spend it on).

Knight Online is like Silkroad's lil' bro'. Same issues, same pros. And just as in SRO, 90% of the players come from Turkey. So don't expect many English speaking players there.

Well. I downloaded knight online and now im gonna try it.
I dont know how the wars are thought... I always loved game where you can be in a war at low levels, because on most games, to be part of the awesome wars you need to be very high lvl =/ Well im triying it right now lol |

I'm exactly the same regarding wars: I love when you can play in them without spending thousands of hours leveling. And indeed, you can do that in Knight Online with the Dark Lunar Wars. With that said, I did participate in a Dark Lunar War as a cleric a few years back: I had joined the game for that purpose. It really didn't take very long to reach the right level for it (Under 10 hours of play, more around 5 if I remember well).
It unfortunately didn't end up being the most enjoyable gaming experience I ever had. First, there was no one speaking any english: I received some broken english from a turk once, but that was the best I got, and a "tanks" for some buffs and healing I was giving out. Secondly, it was kinda chaotic. I stayed near our base after the first death, since there were occasionally some people on the other faction attacking our leaders there. There's no way to quickly see if someone is an ally or an enemy before clicking on them until they are very close, so I often got 1-shotted by people I thought were my allies. There was no real strategy to it all either, we had some groups at our base, and some groups attacking theirs; same thing for us. Ended up in a draw. It was a fight with a lot of people, but it just wasn't terribly fun, and I didn't feel as if it'd be more fun if I was stronger, so I called it quits. I'm glad to have tried the game and the war, but it's definitively not something I'll try again myself. I hope you'll get more enjoyment out of it than I did, though!
