Any recommended MMORTS's I should play? My friend wants me to buy warcraft 3 but I'm not keen on buying games and I never played a MMORTS before. So yea... I'm willing to try mostly anything, as long as it isn't a steaming pile of shit.

Playing dreamlords, I totally messed up the frist round, but I'm getting used to the game play. only thing that annoys me is when it closes when I press alt+tab.

It's over 10 years old and still kicking. The gameplay balance is pretty good even with some small differences with payer benefits. It has an extremely steep learning curve. No one can master this game in under a week and learn all its units and strategies. Not recommended if you're the casual player. |

warcraft was fun imo, not the best out there but well worth a play.
though i agree, age of empires is probably one of the best you'll get. people go on about battle for middle earth as well but i havent played it. could be worth a look |
