Adden is passably good-looking, but cares little for personal hygiene and proper presentation.

Background

Adden spent the better part of his days on Earth as a penniless vagabond; He wandered far and wide, unsure of his destination, feeding off urban refuse and housing himself in cardboard hovels as he travelled. His itinerant lifestyle, his base habits and uncouth demeanour came to a swift close when he was recruited into the Gildron Infantry as a Rifleman. He underwent three years of rigorous army training.

Though the military was a merciful release from his former destitution, it also brought with it incessant drills, endless manual exertions and scarring whips.

Adden had been subject to a total of 6 lashings and 19 floggings by the time he departed from the academy. If anything, the army had taught him discipline and self-control.

Adden participated in the minor border skirmishes that were the preamble to the Apocalypse. His battalion was The sight of coruscating laser-cannons and beams of flesh-rending energy terrified him so that he lost all taste for war, and instead fled east on foot. A 'deserter' in the eyes of his comrades and countrymen.

But the war shadowed his every move. He lost many friends to the rifle and the cannon. The conflict escalated - missiles were launched. Soon enough, the earth was teetering on the edge of absolute obliteration.

In a last ditch effort to save himself from the fury of Doomsday, he boarded a small spaceship bound for the stars. "Perhaps in the solitude of space", he said, as the engines roared, "I can find some measure of peace.'

Personal items: Standard issue laser-pistol (rechargable), Pistol Charger, a locket, and an outdated edition of the Gildron Military Service Manual.

Special Skills:
- Adden is a consummate gunner and has a fair amount of military experience.
- Adden is capable of operating basic army transport machinery (EVAC units etc.)

Weakness:
Brash, unpredictable, hardly sociable, likely to abandon his mates under extreme circumstances.
