To be honest I'd just wait for GW2.

why? i highly recommend you to buy Guild Wars: Prophecies, its the first campaign the original one and its really good, i bought it 2 weeks ago for around 15 pounds (which is 1 gametime card of WoW) and if your interested in GW2 itll give you some experience in Guildwars and see if your even interested in GW2.

i have all the GWs + EOTN(the expansion) and been playing since beta on and off (i find another game or something to do and so then i would play that instead of GW but always leave GW installed cause i know i will come back to it) i have tryed WOW and imo i just don't like it much. i am not a hardcore gamer by any means so GW is fun to maybe do some quests and a mish for an hour or so then if u want u can get off without knowing u need to cram more before the month is over since u may not be able to pay the next month or w/e. if u only buy one GW get the regualr proph sicne its the best and most epic but only has the manin classes but now u can usually get proph+factions or proph+nightfall for a good price and then u can find which one u like. so if u decide to play add me. Victor Victoria(thats just one of my names and if u add one IGN even if i am on another it will tell u thats chars name and that i am on ^_^)

When guild Wars 2 comes out it will address the jumping issue and whole lot more but if you'd like to check it out for yourself then go to: http://guildwars.com to access the home page then go to the gw wiki tab then you can search info about GW2 . Now it will be awhile until GW2 will come out but if you have the expansion Eye of the North everything that you accomplish in EOTN will transfer to GW2. Titles,etc. and your ign will be saved to where you can access that same name when you start GW2. There will also be a change in max. levels as well but you can see that info on gwwiki. hope this helps.

Id say WOW is alot better in many ways but guild wars is really really dirt cheap for what it is!
