Didn't we have a genre discussion on here about Rammstein?
Yea, I remember, I made my point there and telling you all that I think that you are not right was bothersome enough once.

Genre is either: NDH
or Metal
or that weird genre tag they invented for themselves that I keep forgetting, because no one knows it anyways.

Not at all industrial.

(Funny, I also posted what music the shooter listened to in the very first thread about it; Wumpscut would make room for a much more interesting discussion, because he leaves plenty of room open with his message.)

Did he put bananas in his cheerios on the same morning? Everyone who does this is potentially a killer, you know.
So he liked metal? What the heck does this have to do with anything? If he happened to like Samantha Fox, i'm sure they wouldn't have taken the time to mention it. Because music and killing sprees are SO related.

Rammstien = Neue Deutsche Härte (New German Hardness) or Tanzmetall (Dance metal). It's influenced by hard rock/metal.

There ya go. Also, the topic is about Matti being a fan of Rammstein/Metallica, not what genre the bands are.

And them blaming his rampage on music.. Dear God.. When "gangstas" gets killed we don't see "Mr.Dude was a fan of 50 Cent and Tupac".
I bet my right nut that the author was Christian and he/she/heshe believes metal is the "work of the devil".

Neue Deutsche Härte is the movement, not the genre name necessarily. Especially when bands of varying genres make the movement up.

Rammstein are metal, whatever kind of metal you wish to label them. Industrial metal is usually a label given to a band who use computers or digital instruments to create a lot of their music, it sounds very mechanical, or they use a lot of samples. Rammstein don't really fall into that category, maybe aesthetically.
