It's not about F2P being more successful or mainstream. You see more F2P mmos simply because they take less time/money to complete. Mythic spent $50,000,000 and 3 years creating Warhammer Online. Most F2P games are completed in less than a year with a much lower budget. F2P games also have more registered accounts/players because they're free to download and play. I highly doubt any F2P games can match Warhammer Online or World of Warcraft's success. Success is all about money and most F2P players join with no intention of spending money. They usually play F2P games because they don't have money. that is all

Free to play MMO's will never take over the market because you'll always only get what you pay for.

I beg to differ greatly. I'm willing to stake a fair amount of my money on the assumption Maple Story matches or overshadows WoW's gross income. Again Maple is a good example of success. You now see tons of ads for Maple and I have never seen an ad for WoW until just recently which is funny, this means most likely they recognized that they had competition. For the latter guy, I already said that you will find some people who like Free games more than those pay to play. I wouldn't say WoW begins to compete with Latale in terms of sheer fun and playability. I mean that is just opinions, but you might find that a lot of people like Latale or Maple better than WoW.

I think that because the free mmos are free people enjoy them more, cause they know they don't need to squeeze the most exp out of every second that they possibly can. So it is more relaxed and therefore more fun for most people.

hell yeahhh... F2P is becoming the trend of the MMO publisher nowadays... but to be honest P2P is much cheaper than any F2P play games out there....

Pay to Play, is defintley faltering, while think of all the failed F2P games? I'd say 95% of the F2P games out there are fails. I mean WoW/AoC/WAR/FFXI are the only BIG P2P games out there (Currently) and F2P has very little to compete with, since they DONT make millions and billions a year, whereas there budget cant compete with WoWs or the others I mentioned above. (Sorry I am terrible at explaining..)

LOL GET IT?

If there is one thing I realized over the past several months; is that life is a very short experience, and it shouldn't be wasted avoiding opportunities, and instead of allowing minuscule things getting you down, you should smile and tip your hat, and accept any outcome, good or bad.
