You either:
1.Did not have the CD to install the drivers. 2.Have a non-compatible card (but theres alot of them, so this one won't be it). 3.Have a crappy Power Supply. 4.Probably broke your motherboard (maybe not). Tell us what card you have and how much watts your psu can distribute. Your best bet will either be, number 1 or number 3. |

Well thats your problem, the cd; I'm not much of a software/hardware expert so try this place and see if you can get an answer or wait for someone else on this forum to answer back http://www.hardforum.com/.

So, the monitor just stays black or on the "receives no signal mode"?
There are no boot up diagnostic sounds either? Sounds like the card isn't functional or you piked up one that isn't compatible. If you built in the card and you can't get it to even boot in a system that had no issues beforehand, you'll have to try to get a refund m8. Last edited by Ronin; 09-27-2008 at 11:22 PM. |
