I was gonna get that ram, maybe not from tiger if i can find a better deal. Beside the point, is that ram actually any good? All i know is that the shitty dell stuff that came with my computer is only 566mhz and im taking that out for whatever i get. This being 800mhz. I'd also be going up a gig to 2 gigs instead of 1. If you know of anything else around that price range that's better....lemme know. ~Thanks~ |

The corsair ram is pretty standard ram. Even if you get better ram, either in the case of clock speed or latency, the difference is negligible.
Anyways, Newegg has some cheaper ones. OCZ has really cheap 2gb ram at $20. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227124 If you can spend more, you can 4gb of ram for $40. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227269 |

I was surprised to see that the RAM doesn't come with instructions or even recommended settings in the box. No wonder so many people are complaining that it just doesn't work- there's no indication on the RAM that you need to up your mobo's voltage to run it stable. Uhm...what? Yes i know Double Post but still, better to ask in a thread i already made. so BUMP http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...33250&CatId=28 That card any good, maybe ill get it from somewhere else. I use tiger direct as a nice little catalog as to what i want then google it from somewhere else. Also on the ram thing above. continue to help. Last edited by garbanian; 10-02-2008 at 03:48 AM.
