Get out of the tutorial zone and go to Morroc or Prontera. North of Morroc, you'll find picky and peco eggs. For Prontera, go down south until you reach a desert map. You'll find picky and peco eggs. Fight those and you're good to go. They give really nice exp and easy. Once you can change class, you're gonna have to buy teleports from other acolytes or walk.

This free server is gonna be so much like alpha Ragnarok. I can predict there's gonna be a lot of acolyte selling teleports. But with the 50% drop rate, it's gonna be a hard time finding those blue gemstones. You can buy them but they are 2.5x costlier. (600z -> 1500z)

after playing almost 3 and a half years of non-stop Ragnarok online including Legal p2p server and Private servers ranging from hi to "lowest than retail", I gotta say

Merchants have the hardest quest too, not that its horribly difficult, but in comparison with the acolyte quest it's a lot to handle.

They make LOTS of money in 2nd job though, merchants get rich much quicker than any other class.

Well, merchants have more to work for than just money :P. It's just a good bonus.

Merchants are the slowest first job at leveling, but they level much faster at 2nd job.. atleast above average.

I don't really mind the grind, I can stand that...well at least for now. But the only thing the really pisses me off is the totally inflated prices. It makes it seem like forever just to bring up enough money just to buy a measly Blade which costs 2,200 gold...but other than that im having some fun.

Currently a lv16 thief, but now that I've reached culvert, I should be able to hit 20 soon.

And if any more merchants would sell some novice potions for 10z each, i think that'd be swell.
