I'm an earth/wind mage and I have to say those two elements work well together so far. The recoil from the earth spell can be usefull since it can push you away from a group of enemies trying to rape you =P.

I never bothered to try dual elements that both requires masteries. Having to invest 3 skill points plus more for attack skills for each tree seemed a bit too costly for me unless i was a very high level.

I enjoy my complete mastery of wind with few points in expert and my maxed magic boost passive since it maximizes my damage.

Also, what element stone do you use, wind or earth? Im guessing earth since you need to knockback the enemies with a strong single attack.
