I don't see whats so great about code geass, i've never managed to get into the storyline.


anyway, i suggest

Samurai 7 (Mecha/War/ minor romance)
Cowboy Bebop? (futuristic, not really mecha. but it has romance)
Kannazuki no Miko (Mecha, yuri)
