I watched the battle between the rebels and the maverics. As far as I could see only one of the rebels survived and then she left with a man who had been fighting the maverics with a strange looking machine. i decided that I would would go looking for the girl, if the maverics were chasing her she might know where the person I was looking for was.

Kairi gratefully took the canteen a drank the water. Kairi jumped spilling some water on herself when a knife came flying towards her hitting a scorpion next to her. Nodding she criss crossed her legs. Finishing drinking Key started to explain why she was being chased. "The maverics are after me because I have been involved in many rebellions trying to set the world to it's former peace. "

I took off my facial gear revealing 2 scars from battles against the maverics. One ran down my right eye while the other went across my cheek in a diagonal manner. "A rebellion you say. Do you know what it takes to be a revolutionist, a rebel, a freedom fighter..." I paused for a second thinking about the past and how I ended up this way. "My parents were a once like you, fighting to change the world. When I was young they died fighting for their beliefs. They fought the maverics and rebelled against their tyranny. These scars are reminders of what they did to me. Let me join your rebellion. I will fight."

I had crossed the grounds where the fight had been and now stood on a rise looking for where the two rebels had gone. Then I saw it, smoke rising from an outcropping of rocks. I arrived at the entrance and saw the two sitting and talking. "Hello"

I quickly turned around with my double barrel aiming at him with a shocked and angry face. "WHO ARE YOU" I said in a stern and harsh manner. I got up and walked toward her in a very cautious and defensive manner. I went from an unguarded mood to a very defensive and closed manner. "Hands up where I can see them" I started to circle her like an animal gauging it's unknown intruder. "are you with the girl?"

I slowly raised my hands above my head "No I am not but I did come to speak with her"

I took my aim off the girl and put my gun away. I walked back toward the fire and sat down. Instinct told be to stay on guard and get ready for something. The scorpion was done and roasted with so I took a piece and started to eat.

Key watched as Jherico suddenly went from calm to almost an attack mode. Taking a bit out of the scorpin she watched her raise her hands and say she wanted to talk to me. "What about?" Key chimmed in.

i lowered my arms when the man put down his gun and turned to the girl. "Since you were being chased by the maverics I was hoping you would have some information about the location of one of their generals." I waited for her response hoping that I was write that the group she had fought reported to the general I was looking for.

Key thought for a moment, she had some knowledge but not the exact location. "As far as I know they have several outposts in this desert, the general is in the main outpost here. Not so sure which one, but I am searching for that."
