Well heres my arguement about this election, if mccain wins, that will make him the oldest president to serve i believe. With that being said if something was to happened to him (ie get sick and die) then the vice president has to step up and take the position but when the vice president steps up theres no one that steps up to vice president. Which in my mind would be a sticky situation that america doesn't need to be in.

You really don't know what you're talking about, do you? :P

There is a system from the bottom up ensuring that that can't happen. Some one will step in for VP if need be, just like in the past when several of our other Presidents died in office.

Dick Cheney has had more heart attacks than Fred Sanford.

They're still able to keep him alive somehow, so I wouldn't worry.

There are 16 people in the line of succession for the U.S. presidency, in the off-chance that 15 of the people who go into the Presidency die somehow in the span of four years.

Look up the U.S. government, and re-roll argument with an information modifier and try again.

Not technically. Reagon is the oldest serving as presidency at 77. McCain would be the oldest to serve entering his first term.

If the VP becomes President, then he/she appoints a new VP with congress approval. In both die, Speaker of the House becomes President and appoints the vacant positions.
