After playing it some more, my current feel for it is that Farcry 2 is to Farcry what Bioshock is to System Shock 2.
I think all four of those games are good games and I have a ton of fun when playing any of them (What I think is the most important thing about a game). But, like Bioshock, Farcry 2 is defiantly simplified for the console. There are more little "automatic" details in the game than the previous version, details that are just there. But Farcry I got to say had a lot more detail with what you as the player could do to the game. So far the biggest thing thats got my panties in a bunch in the game are the Binoculars. It's got no kind of zoom settings it it, when one of that systifocation would have that. But I love the sniping in the game, which is a rare thing. Most of the time I loath the sniping in games. But yea, this is defiantly not a game to play too linier. ---------------- Now playing on Winamp: The Grateful Dead - St. Stephen
