we all know there are sometimes when our gf/bf friend or family members try to interfere in our gaming time...well i was just curious as to how onrpg deals with these situations...when your in the middle of a game and you don't want to get up....or when your in the middle of a really long cutscene....or in a dungeon in an mmo....and someone asks you for a favor, hang out, stay on the phone etc etc with you...what do you do?

Real life >>> Video game.
If someone phones you, you can do both at once (unless you are unable to multitask... Like a certain friend of mine who would phone me while she played the sims, those were not productive conversations). If someone comes over, ditch the stupid game. |

I say "let me ****ing finish what I'm doing" if they are being pushy.
I say "give me a few seconds to finish this (level, area, etc)" if they are polite. And if its someone I don't wanna hang out with anyway, I just don't answer the phone. But thats not too often. In most cases, I just drop what I'm doing to go hang out. Forget video games, they will be there when I get home. |
