This is really a wonderful site. It has videos of conferences that are held by some of the smartest people in the world.
Subjects of all kinds are discussed and it's a great place to learn new things thats happening in our world and to also gain different perspectives of what we already know.
For example, a while ago there was a talk that was about the deep ocean floor. While they were studying the area down there they found a volcanic vent that was actually producing organic matter out of non-organic matter, something that has never been observed in nature and only done in a lab a couple times.

Yep awesome site. There were so many things that I thought wouldn't interest, but it did. When I first found it, I decided to watch one a day. Now I'm out of Tedtalks to watch.
