They're all aimed at different audiences and have a different kind of game selection.

Wii's games are mostly for everyone including little kids.
Playstation 3's games are mostly fantasy and mostly for young adults to adults.
Xbox 360's games are mostly shooters and action games mostly aimed at teenagers.

That being said I prefer Xbox 360

Yes the online is good though I've never seen what Live is like. I'd go with PS3, just because the games coming appeal more to me than games from Wii or 360; most games on the 360 come out for PC anyway so, at least on my PC I don't have to pay to play games online >.>

Computer > PS3 > 360.

My PS3 is backwards compatable...Great games. LBP, wich i was in the beta is freakin awesome.

Just last night I was sent my invitation to Resistance 2 Beta, Im at work right now, but when i get home...ooooshit.

Only game I would get the 360 for is Fable2, but I already have a PS3, no need to buy a console for a game like that...Ill get it on the computer.

Get the wii.
I've softmodded mine to death and I couldn't be happier.

SNES emulator, GBA emulator, N64 emulator, soon to have a PSX emulator.
DVD player, Backup Loader , etc.
