I stopped right about there to laugh. If anime teaches you a lesson in life then you have a long way to go in life as it is. The morals in each story for anime are rather shallow and should only be taken with a grain of salt.
So what you're saying is: in FMA it also teaches kids to use magic spells and try to resurrect their mother only to lose their limbs? All your other points are valid, but not this one. (By the way: bringing up the philosophers stone in a chemistry class is one way to be laughed out of it.)
