Default Just wondering

Is it possible for a couple with black hair and black eyes to have a kid with blonde hair and blue eyes?

If you know the process of what actually is birth then you should know that your DNA gets duplicated in the process and is mixed with the females DNA in the egg's cell from ur sperms dna in that cell and is ALWAYS different but some genes could be passed on.

Hair is a combination trait so no, and eye color brown is dominate I believe so yes you could have a kid with blue eyes.

It is actually possible in both cases. It depends on the recessive traits of both parents, though.

edit:

For instance, if the alleles for black hair are BB or Bb, and the alleles for blonde hair are bb, if both parents are Bb they have 1/4 chance of having a baby with bb.. hence blonde hair!

I understand some will not understand that at all, but I decided to explain anyways.

"Always" and "but" do not work well in one sentence...

@OP: Yes.

I for example have blue eyes, such as both my grandfathers, but my parents and all siblings do have brown eyes.
No reason to overreact, it's nothing unusual about it.

If you are bored you can entertain yourself with some educating on the Mendelian inheritance laws that are the basis of classic genetics.

Reality is a little more complex than Jammart put it, because Hair color isn't inherited Mendelian and explaining it requires more complicated theories.

If the parents of the parents had blue eyes/blonde hair there could be a possibility (to lazy to do the math now)

Ehe, but the way I put it explains that it is possible. If descendants of the parents had blonde hair or blue eyes, there is always possibility. Besides, most babies are born with blonde hair and grow out of it anyway .

The concept of recessive genes capable of "slumbering" through (infinite) generations was a big step forward, it is the first step into the direction of modern genetics.

You can't have black eyes.
If you do have black eyes then your eye's Iris is underdeveloped which is called Aniridia.
